Newcastle looking to sign brilliant £60M Frenchman!

There has been some reports in the media which have now claimed tat Newcastle United are interested in signing Michael Olise ahead of the summer window

In the January window there was significant interest from some big clubs in the France youth international, with a reported £35million release clause in his contract, but he ultimately ended up staying put and penning a new four-year deal at Selhurst Park.

However – there has been alot of speculation in the media that all the big clubs are reportedly interested in a move for the attacker – and could even make a move this coming transfer he is tipped to make a move to one of the big clubs.

According to journalist Ben Jacobs (via Caughtoffside), Newcastle United are set to compete with their Premier League rivals to secure the service of Crystal Palace star Michael Olise.

In his column, Jacobs wrote, “I also expect Newcastle to bring in a right-sided wide forward or winger, especially with Miguel Almiron struggling for goals.

‘Newcastle will listen to offers for the Paraguayan having verbally agreed on a deal close to €30m in January with Saudi side Al-Shabab, only to find the player didn’t want to move. Michael Olise, who is a Manchester United target, is a possibility if funds allow.

‘Olise has a complicated release clause that can be triggered in the region of £60-65m.”
