Next stop Premier League! Juventus star Sandro has €10m-a-year Chelsea offer?

Reports have claimed Juventus star Alex Sandro has a €10m-a-year contract offer to make a move to the Premier League, with Chelsea chasing the full-back.

Regarded as one of the finest full-backs in Europe, Sandro has been linked with a shock move to Stamford Bride after reports emerged which claimed Maurizio Sarri is keen to spend £200 million in the January window on improving his squad.

The Blues are facing a transfer window ban for their transfer dealings of under-age talents and Sarri is keen to get his business done before they simply cannot buy anymore players.

Juve are reportedly demanding a fee of around €60million (£53m) from potential suitors for Sandro which Chelsea are reportedly ready to pay, and would sell in January if they found an adequate replacement.

And reports on the Calciomercato website have now claimed Sandro has received a €10m-a-year (£8.9m) offer from an unnamed Premier League club, with Chelsea just one of two clubs seeking to seal a January deal.

Sandro recently has admitted he has a dream to play in the Premier League.

Asked about playing in England while on international duty with Brazil, Sandro said on the TMW website: ‘I think, one day, who knows what will happen?

‘I have a desire to play in the Premier League but right now I am very happy where I am at, the club I am at [Juventus], the league I am playing in.

‘So today my only thought is to continue where I am because that’s where I feel happy.’

Would signing Sandro be worth the £53 million for Chelsea?

In the shape of Marcos Alonso Chelsea have one of the best left-backs in Europe right now as the Spaniard has become an integral part of the side over the last few seasons, but if he gets injured then they are in serious trouble.

So signing Sandro would provide good competition for Alonso, which would push the Spaniard and get the absolute best out of both players, which is what all managers look to achieve.
