£30M striker expected to complete Arsenal transfer deal before Friday window!
Eddie Nketiah is ‘expected to leave’ Arsenal before the end of the transfer window, despite the reports in the media which have revealed that his move to Nottingham Forest has broken down in the last few days.
The academy graduate has played a big part in the Arsenal squad this season, but has largely found himself on the bench on a weekly basis under Mikel Arteta.
It is no secret that ARSENAL are eyeing up a striker this coming summer window – which means that Nketiah would fall even further down the pecking order at the club – and that has led to speculation that he is a player that the Gunners are willing to sell.
That has led to reports that the likes of West Ham and Newcastle are interested in a move for the player, as both clubs knows that they need to add another striker to the attack, although that £30 million asking price is a bit high.
That has allowed Nottingham Forest to show an interest in the player and they have made a move for the striker, and it seemed that a move to the club was going to happen after that asking price was met.
But over the last days it has been claimed that a move to Forest has broken down and now Nketiah could move to Crystal Palace – At least that’s the view of Fabrizio Romano, who took to X to reveal the latest information he has heard.
He wrote: “Eddie Nketiah, open to join Crystal Palace as deal will depend on club to club agreement
“Initial talks on personal terms taking place but there are more clubs keen, as situation is still open.
“Nketiah, fully expected to leave Arsenal in the final days.”

Look, Nketiah has been a great servant for ARSENAL – he has been a player that has impressed at times for the club – but he is a player that was never going to lead that Gunners attack.
He needs to make sure that he gets a move away from the club.
