Fans stunned after impressive star told ‘he needs to leave Arsenal’

Liverpool icon Jamie Carragher has told Eddie Nketiah to leave Arsenal this summer

It is no secret that Arsenal are in the market to add a new striker to the attack when the transfer window opens up in just a few months time – as Mikel Arteta knows they he needs goals in the side

Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah have been ok this season – but they are not the type of players that will score 20-30 goals a season – and that is what the top teams top players are doing right now

Nketiah has started Arsenal’s last four Premier League victories and, with his contract running out in the summer, Mikel Arteta is reportedly keen to keep the striker at the club.

However, Carragher thinks Nketiah would be better served departing the Emirates at the end of the season to get the opportunities he needs to develop, with his four goals in his last four Premier League matches catching the eye of potential suitors.

Speaking on Sky Sports, he said: ‘Yes (Arsenal should try to keep him) but I don’t think he’ll ever end up first-choice striker, so I think it would be better for him to move on.’

Look, Nketiah has been very good over the past few days and we are pretty sure that Mikel Arteta will convince the board to hand him that contract that he deserves

But he still may wait to see what Striker the club do bring in over the course of the transfer window as they will surely be the new number one hitman at the Emirates

But for the now the lad is doing everything possible to prove that he could be the number one striker and the future at the Emirates – and that is all he can do right?
