Here is a roundup of the top Chelsea news and gossip from icfootballnews that we think that you guys may have missed –

Atletico Madrid Star Joao Felix has a desire to leave the Spanish giants in the January window – alerting the likes of Chelsea.

Felix came through the ranks at Benfica as a teenager and earned a move to Atletico in 2019 after smashing 20 goals in 43 games during his debut season with the Portuguese giants – numbers that alerted all the big clubs in world football

But although he has not produced those kind of numbers at Atletico – he has become a big part of the Spanish side and Felix’s talents have also seen him break into the Portugal team, where he has scored three times in 22 appearances.

There has been many rumours in the media that the likes of Man City and Liverpool are all ready to delve into that transfer kitty and try to secure a transfer deal for the talented attacker

Now – AS reports that the gifted young player has a desire to leave the club when the January window opens up.

But report also claims that a loan move appears to be the most likely option as there are no willing takers for his £125 million asking price.

the news of that Joao Felix could come onto the market will alert a number of clubs to a possible transfer deal – the man really is a class act that could potentially develop into a world class manager

However – he would cost Chelsea around £125 million to acquire and then would command a massive fee – so even though he could be a great long-term buy – we cannot see him making the move to Stamford Bridge for that money.

However – we can see him making a loan move to London – that is something Chelsea have done in the past with Saul Niguez – and may be willing to do again with Felix.

But it is a massive shock that a player they had big dreams for could be leaving – but he has not lived upto the expectations of the club

Havertz to sign –

German International Kai Havertz will snub a move to Real Madrid and stay with Chelsea – Reporter Iomie Stanley has claimed.

Kai Havertz was brought to Chelsea just a few seasons ago after impressing and making a name for himself over in the Bundesliga.

He had a iffy start to life at Stamford Bridge – but has become the clubs main man up top as his ability to find the back of the net is much better than what Graham Potter has in his squad right now.

But According to Calciomercato, Chelsea could be at risk of losing their star forward Kai Havertz to Real Madrid. Although the German’s contract at Stamford Bridge expires in 2025, Los Blancos are looking to hunt another striker after the World Cup in Qatar.

With Karim Benzema’s contract expiring in 2024 and Christopher Nkunku being heavily linked to England, Carlo Ancelotti wants to strengthen his forward battery by bringing Kai Havertz to Spain.

However – if you believe the words of Stanley – Havertz will be going nowhere unless he is told that he is no longer needed.

He told IcFootballnews: ‘All these rumours about players wanting to leave Chelsea are to be expected – they are in transition right now.

‘However – he is happy at the club – has shown no desire to want to leave and is enjoying playing as a number nine – being the main man – he will not get that at Madrid.

‘He would have seen the likes of Thibaut Courtois and Eden Hazard make a move to the Bernabeu and flop – so it would be a massive shock to see him leave.

‘It is much more likely that Ted Boehly sits him down – and gives him a nice big contract to sign because he is one of the clubs best performers – he is a man that does exactly what he is asked and is a man that fans have grown to love.

‘So unless he is told to leave – unless Madrid offer something crazy – he will decide to stay at Chelsea.”

Chelsea favourites to sign Rabiot –

It has again been claimed that Chelsea are favorites to sign unhappy Juventus star Adrien Rabiot.

The Frenchman has really struggled for game time this season at Juventus and he wants more guaranteed football at this stage of his career as he is not getting any younger

Despite being one of the most gifted central midfielders in the game – Rabiot has never really adapted to Italian football like many had hoped – and Juventus are also keen to make sure that they get his massive £7M a season wages off the books

He is out of contract at the end of the season – and with Graham Potter keen to add some more quality to his side – there has been some rumours that a move by the Blues will be made

And according to Tuttosport – Chelsea are now winning the race to sign the gifted French midfielder   who is currently at the World Cup with his International team

The report also suggest that the Frenchman would find it difficult to “resist the advances” of Chelsea,

Amid all the speculation the Frenchman has opened up and admitted that a good World Cup could help him with that next step in his career.

He said via The Sun:

“I don’t see the World Cup as pivotal in my career but maybe it can help me.

“I am in the last year of my contract at Juventus and maybe being at the World Cup will help with the next step of my career.”
