Will United sign Ten Hag?

Man United target Christopher Nkunku has not ruled out a summer transfer but claims that he is happy to stay at RB Leipzig.

It is no secret in the media that Erik Ten Hag is desperate to improve that Man United attack during the summer transfer window and is eyeing up a number of possible signings for the club – and Nkunku is high up on the shopping list

The forward has enjoyed the best campaign of his career so far, scoring 35 and assisting 20 in all competitions, whilst also being named Bundesliga Player of the Season ahead of some of the biggest names in the game

Nkunku was asked about the speculation linking him with a move away from the Bundesliga side over the next few months – and he opened the door to a possible move to Man United – or one of the other clubs that are chasing his services

He said: ‘I don’t close any doors. Everything is possible in football.

‘It’s flattering to have the biggest clubs in the world interested in me. But it’s also flattering that Leipzig is doing everything to keep me.

‘We are in June, and I am focused on this gathering.’

Reports suggest that Leipzig will listen to offers of around £60million – although that may be higher considering the fact that he is one of the most exciting young players in Europe right and chased by all the biggest clubs

Nkunku is a man that is rising at a very fast rate – his numbers are so impressive that he has outshone the likes of Erling Haaland and Robert Lewandowski over in the Bundesliga

If United are keen to add goals to that attack – he could be a very special signing – not only does he have the ability to score – but he has the ability to create too
