Impressive summer Arsenal signing ‘very happy’ and settled after completing summer move
Christian Norgaard has outlined how easy he has settled into life at ARSENAL following his move from Brentford earlier in the transfer window, in a move that will mean he gets to play Champions League football this season.
The Denmark international had been with Brentford since signing from Fiorentina in 2019, with spells earlier in his career with Hamburg and Brondby, but he has really impressed over the past 12 months.
The 31-year-old has completed his move from Brentford to the Emirates last month, and after being at the club for the past few weeks, he has now opened up and revealed how has settled in.
“So far, so good! It’s been very easy to settle in; the group has welcomed me in such a good way,” Norgaard told the official club website.
“All the players and the staff have been so good, so I’m really happy.
“I’ve played against all of the players before so I know them a little bit, and I’ve played a couple of years with David Raya at Brentford, of course.
“Also we’re staying in London, so being able to actually stay where we’ve lived now for five years is fantastic.
“So it doesn’t feel like a big change for the family.”
IcFootballnews Says…
Norgaard joining ARSENAL is a very good move for the player to make, he gets to play at the very highest level of the game and at one of the best sides in the Premier League. It was the right decision to make at this stage of his career.
We do not know how much game time he will actually get over the next few months, but he will be an asset that Mikel Arteta can rely on.
