£80M powerhouse INFORMS chasing Arsenal he wants to join BIG CLUB

Everton midfielder Amadou Onana has admitted his desire to play for an international world club, amid speculation that Arsenal are interested in a deal.

The Gunners played some brilliant football last season, were one of the best attacking sides to watch and were the best defensively, but they still failed to beat Man City to that Premier League title.

This transfer window the board have confirmed that there will be money for Mikel Arteta to spend – the Spanish boss will be able to sign the players taht he needs to really take that title away from Guardiola next season .

Onana is believed to be one of the players Arsenal have looked at along with Bruno Guimaraes and Martin Zubimendi respectively, as they want to bolster that midfield area over the course of the transfer window.

Now – amid all the rumours that Arsenal are still interested in a move for Onana – the Belgian star has opened up and admitted that his desire is to play for an international world club: “I have the approach that everything I dream about can come true,” he said, via Sport Witness.

“I dreamed of becoming a professional, which I became at HSV. I dreamed of moving to France and playing for a Champions League club, which I achieved with Lille.

“And I dreamed of playing in the Premier League, which Everton made possible. It’s actually true that every step in my career is planned.

“I want to be a much better player. And my goal is to play for an international world club in three years. I also want to have qualified with Belgium for the 2026 World Cup in America in three years. I dream about that. And I will do everything I can to make these dreams come true too.

“I have to and will answer this very professionally: I’m under contract with Everton – and I’ll leave everything else to the media. I’ll just do my best at the European Championships and then we’ll see.”

Onana is a solid player that had one really well in the Premier League – but moving to a big club like ARSENAL – he would be more of a bench warmer than what he is now at Everton.

That step up means that he will need to improve his game – his work rate – his goals – his defending – his everything – the pressure will also take its tole – there are so many factors in how he would be successful.

If Arsenal want him – it is to be back-up – if Chelsea want him – its for back-up – if Man United want him – its for back-up – If Liverpool want him – its for back-up – you see my point here?
