Midfielder ‘bleeds Arsenal red’, £60 million Prem defender on way? Tielemans sends transfer message

Here is the roundup of the latest Arsenal news and gossip.

There has been some reports which have claimed Arsenal are ready to battle Manchester United to the signature of Harry Maguire.

Arsenal have one of the best attacks in world football and have got to the Europa League final with their ability to score more then they conceded.

However, the back-line is simply not good enough and Unai Emery will need to delve into his transfer kitty and improve the back-line.

And reports on the Sun website have now claimed that Arsenal are ready to rival United for the signature of Maguire.

United have been tracking Maguire all season and were ready to try and complete a transfer deal during the January window, but Leicester did not want to sell the big man and he had no intention of leaving.

But he wants to play in the Champions League and right now United cannot offer that to him, especially as they are so far behind their Premier League rivals, it could take a few seasons for them to get back to their best. (Read More)

The agent of midfielder Mesut Ozil insists the German attacker ‘bleeds Arsenal’ wants to stay at the Emirates.

Ozil has been in the headlines for all the wrong reasons over the past few months as there is constant speculation in the media suggesting that Ozil will be heading towards the exit signs.

Unai Emery has a style of play that just does not suit the German midfielder, and Ozil has been dropped more often than not this season when it comes to the big games.

The likes of Bayern Munich, PSG and a move to the MLS have been all talked about as possible destinations for the German, as Emery would be willing to get him off the wage bill.

However, Ozil’s agent has opened up and admitted that he does not want to leave the Emirates at the end of the season and wants to stay at Arsenal.

Dr Erkut Sogut told Turkish-Football: “Mesut bleeds Arsenal red, and respecting his contract is a certainty.

“He’ll be staying at Arsenal until at least 2021, and the fans need not to worry about the gossip that may come this summer. He has found a place he feels welcome and believes he has a lot more to give.” (Read More)

On-loan Leicester star Youri Tielemans has told the likes of Manchester United and Arsenal that he is unsure on his future.

There has been a lot of speculation about whom Spanish boss Unai Emery could try and acquire during the summer transfer window to improve the squad, and get the side challenging for the Premier League title once again.

And there has also been some talk that United could make a move for Tielemans, as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer also looks for players that could come in and help improve the side.

And one name that has been mentioned in recent weeks is that of Tielemans, who completed a temporary switch from Monaco to Leicester and has quickly become a popular figure at the King Power Stadium, notching up three assists and one goal in his league appearances.
.And now Tielemans has admitted he is unsure what will be happening with his future during the summer transfer window.

‘Normally, I’ll go back to Monaco this summer, unless something moves, but that’s not the case at the moment,’ Tielemans told VTM.

‘When things go well, of course, you want it to stay that way. ‘

“But I do not know how it’s going to go or how much Monaco are going to ask.’

And the fact that he is paid over £350,000-a-week means Emery could get the German off the wage bill and offer two superstars big wages to join up.
