£45 million midfielder sends message to Gunners fans, Legend addresses rumours Dutchman is heading to Arsenal, £350,000-a-week star wants Arsenal move and Romano makes Van De Beek claim

Partey sends message to fans, Wright issues Van De Beek claim, Romano opens up on possible deal and Ramsey wants return in Arsenal roundup…

Manchester United midfielder Donny van de Beek will NOT be joining Arsenal this summer.

Despite the Dutchman coming to the Premier League with a big reputation, he has struggled to make an impact at United under the guidance of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who seemingly does not trust the midifelder.

That has led to rumours all season that he wants to depart the club and leave United, with a number of clubs interested in a potential deal this summer, and now, Mikel Arteta has reportedly joined the chase.

Mikel Arteta is in the market to sign a new midfielder with the likes of Granit Xhaka, Matteo Guendouzi and Lucas Torreira all likely to leave, and with Van de Beek struggling for game time at Old Trafford, it has been said that the Gunners would be keen to lure him to North London.

However, according to to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, that will not be happening and he has rubbished rumours that Van de Beek will leave Old Trafford to join the north London side.

The Italian journalist tweeted: “There are no talks between Arsenal, Manchester United or player agents for Donny van de Beek.

“Arsenal will sign a new midfielder, for sure – but there’s nothing going on for van de Beek as of today.

“There are other names in the list as priorities.”

This is a rumour that has shocked many, but Van De Beek would have added to that Arsenal midfield and could have been a great signing. But it will be a shame for fans if he does not make that move to Arsenal.

Thomas Partey has backed himself to improve next season after an underwhelming first year at Arsenal.

The Ghana midfielder joined the Gunners for £45million last summer in a Deadline Day deal, after establishing himself as one of the best holding midfielders in Europe.

Arsenal held off alot of interest in the player to make sure that he would make a move to the Emirates, but despite all the hype and a few decent performances, he did not live upto expectations.

A mixture of poor form and injuries meant that he struggled in his first Premier League season, but he has opened up and told Arsenal fans that he will be looking to impress next time around.

He told TV3: “I think everybody has seen it, up and downs, we had good times and bad times.

“But you know this is my first season and I think I had to adapt to how they play, get used to my mates and I think now I’m getting used to them and I know with hard work, everything will be okay for the next season.”

Commenting on the Premier League, he added: “It’s not easy, that’s one of the best leagues in the world and if you want to be there, you have to be able to do everything good.

“So I like this challenge and I’m ready to do everything.

Partey is a top-class player that should have been a superstar for the Arsenal. So fans will be hoping that he lives upto expectations next season and keeps his word.

Juventus star Aaron Ramsey wants to come back to Arsenal, according to reports that have emerged from the Italian media

The Welshman was a key player for the Gunners as he made more than 350 appearances for the club over a decade in north London, but after failing to agree a new contract at the Emirates, he left for Juventus on a free transfer in 2019.

However, The 31-year-old has struggled for form and fitness since joining the Serie A giants –with most of appearances coming off the bench, with reports continually linking him back with a move to English football.

And there has been some shock rumours that Arsenal will decide to make an offer to bring him back to the Emirates, as Mikel Arteta wants to add a goal-scoring midfielder to the side in the transfer window.

Ramsey has two years on left his Juve deal, but both player and club are looking for a transfer this summer, according to Calciomercato, and he wants to make a stunning return back to the Emirates

West Ham, Crystal Palace and Everton are also said to be the four clubs keeping tabs on his situation, but the Italian media outlet claims that Arsenal is the preferred destination for the Welshman.

Arsenal should not bring Ramsey back as he is not the player that would improve the squad. He would not add too much to the side and would just demand a big wage to keep the bench warm, and that is not the type of player that Arteta needs to sign in the summer

So at the end of the day, we cannot see him making a move back to the Emirates

Arsenal legend Ian Wright has given his verdict on the potential signing of Man Utd midfielder Donny van de Beek.

Amid the speculation, Wright has given his verdict on the Dutchman making a possible move to the Emirates by the end of the transfer window, on the Kelly and Wrighty Show he said: “Donny van de Beek, he’s someone that I wish someone more like Arsenal could have taken.

“When you look at [Paul] Pogba, what he’s doing, and you look at Bruno Fernandes – that is Donny van de Beek’s position.

“So people are thinking they’re going to see Van de Beek [sitting] with Pogba and Fernandes, but I don’t think that’s going to happen, because as much as he can play there, that’s not his preferred position to play.

“Listen, Donny van de Beek will be a good player for Man United in time because he’s a quality player.

“But is he what they need right now?”

Would fans welcome him to the Emirates?
