Chelsea free to sign Griezmann – Tuchel wants to keep hold of Broja – Chelsea interested in Pavard in Chelsea news of the day –

Chelsea have reportedly declared their interest in signing Bayern Munich star Benjamin Pavard this summer

Thomas Tuchel has seen a number of players leave the club already this transfer window and is keen for Ted Boehly to back him in his quest to bring in a few world class players

Buying a couple of new defenders and adding a striker to the squad is high up on the agenda for Tuchel – and now it seems that Chelsea is very much interested in signing Pavard from Bayern Munich

Pavard has held discussions with Bayern about leaving Munich this summer and According to Sky Germany, the negotiations “do not rule out a separation” as the full back is unhappy at potentially losing his place in the team after Noussair Mazraoui’s arrival from Ajax.

Add that to the fact that Matthijs De Ligt has also joined the Bundesliga club – and Pavard is falling further down the pecking order

Chelsea is said to have already “signalled an interest” in the France International, whose deal runs until 2024 but the club could cash in if he remains unhappy

Chelsea fans can all surely be unhappy with the business that the club have failed to do so far this summer window – but surely, they will now start seeing more players make the move to the club?

Pavard is a very good attacking defender that has proven himself at the very highest level of the game – so if the reports are true and Chelsea have declared their interest in the Bundesliga star – he could be a great signing for the club

It will be interesting to see how this plays out over the next couple of days – but as we said – he would be a player that would add to this Blues squad and freshen up an area of the pitch that needs sorting out

Pavard is a very gifted player that has the potential to become one of the very best defenders in the world – so if there is a chance to snap him up – he would be a very good signing for the Blues

If they managed to complete a deal

Tuchel wants Broja –

Chelsea are refusing to sell Armando Broja after rejecting West Ham’s £30 million bid, according to Fabrizio Romano

After a poor season back at Stamford Bridge last year – Chelsea allowed Romelu Lukaku to return to Inter Milan on loan for the rest of the season.

That has led to reports that Kai Havertz is now expected to lead the line for Chelsea, although Darren Bent believes Armando Broja could be a better option.

Broja has only made one appearance for Chelsea but impressed on loan at Southampton last season and appears set to stay at Stamford Bridge, having been heavily linked with a move to West Ham earlier in the month.

Now – amid all the speculation surrounding the future of the young man – Romano has come out and told fans that Tuchel has decided that he would not like to keep Broja at the club this summer

He tweeted: “Chelsea, still not accepting any official bid for Armando Broja as of now.

“Tuchel insists in keeping the player, not happy with potential permanent transfer – after West Ham’s £30m proposal rejected 10 days ago. More talks on Chelsea side will take place soon.”

Broja is a very talented player that will score goals – but Tuchel needs success now and we believe that the young man does not have the ability to score 20-goals a season

He is a few years away from that – but if he is given a chance to shine in this Blues side – he will surely impress

With the fact that Chelsea cannot sign a new striker – keeping hold of the lad may be the best option until they complete the signing of top-level forward –

He is definitely hungry enough for that role at Chelsea

Chelsea free to sign Griezmann –

Atletico Madrid will put long-term Chelsea target Antoine Griezmann up for sale so that they can fund a move for Cristiano Ronaldo, reports have claimed

Reports over the last month have claimed the Portuguese star is not happy at Old Trafford and wants to leave to play Champions League football and play his final years at the very top of European football.

Ronaldo has never played Europa League football since his days right at the beginning of his career and considering that he is now 37-years of age – does not intend to start now

Bayern Munich and even Premier League rivals Chelsea have been linked as possible next clubs for the icon this summer, after he was left out of Man United’s pre-season tour squad.

However – it has been claimed that Atletico are also interested in signing the Portuguese superstar in a deal that has angered a lot of fans that hate the Man United star for his time with arch-rivals Real Madrid

And according to The Times – The Spanish side are eager to sign the Portuguese attacker from Manchester United, but they must make space on their wage budget before they can afford him.

And the reports claims that the Spanish giants are now ready to cash in on Griezmann in order to fund a deal for Ronaldo – which could open the door for Chelsea to make a move

It is no secret that Chelsea are massive fans of Griezmann and have tried to secure a transfer deal for his services in the past – but have never been able to convince him to come to the Premier League

The rumours that Ronaldo could be making a stunning move to Atletico have come out of nowhere – the fans really do not want the club to sign him and have made threats that they will boycott the club

Griezmann may not be the player that he once was – but he is still a world class act that would be seen as a real statement signing for Chelsea
