Gifted Frenchman in line for stunning West Ham move? Summer exit confirmed

Dimitri Payet could be in line for a sensational move back to West Ham after officially leaving Marseille this transfer window.

The Hammers have been linked with some big players over the past few months and fans were expecting some decent players to make the move to the club.

Add to the fact that WEST HAM have recently sold Declan Rice for £105 million, there is more than enough  money to splash and bring in players that will make a difference for next season.

However – West Ham are officially the only club in the Premier League yet to make a signing for their first team in the summer transfer window so far.

But that could all be about to change after the news that Payet is now a free agent after leaving Marseille.

WHAT IS THE LATEST – 

Payet fell out of Favour under Igor Tudor last season and saw his game time limited but was given hope when the Croatian boss was replaced by Marcelino.

But that is not the case and it was announced this week that he is now a free agent

COULD HE MOVE BACK TO WEST HAM?

The Hammers needed to do some transfer business this summer and sign players that will make a difference – they have not done that so far.

Payet is regarded as one of the best players to have played for WEST HAM, but hiss sudden departure in January 2017 sullied his name with many West Ham fans who had adored him, and he is no longer loved.

But withe the Hammers stuggling to make signings – having the gifted Frenchman back in the side for a couple of seasons would give David Moyes some more attacking options.

He may be 36-years of age – but he can still make an impact.
