Perez tells Manchester United £131 million will get summer Bale deal wrapped up
Manchester United target Gareth Bale has had a £131m price tag placed on him by Real Madrid president Florentino Perez, reports Telemadrid.
After finally sacking Jose Mourinho earlier this season, it will be all change at Old Trafford in the coming windows as United will need to add a few world class players to get back playing top football.
And one player that could make a shock move to Old Trafford is that of Bale, who has been a transfer target for the Red Devils for a few transfer windows now and is heavily tipped to leave the Spanish giants in the next few windows.
The Welshman has not lived upto expectations at the Bernabeu and has really struggled since Cristiano Ronaldo left for Juventus during the summer window.
And according to recent reports, Madrid are willing to let the Welshman leave the club in the summer transfer window if the £131 million price tag is met by United, or any other chasing club that are interested in trying to secure a summer deal.
However, they mar accept a smaller fee during the transfer window as it would go along way in securing deals for their top transfer targets.
Would Bale be a good signing for United?
Bale is one of the worlds very best wingers and just the type of game changer that the incoming United boss would need to help turn things around.
However, he is no longer worth £131 million and United would need to get that asking price way down to even feel like they are getting a good deal out of signing the Welshman.
But United need defenders not attackers, so they should focus on trying to acquire a couple new faces for the back-line before adding an attacker to the side.
