Perisic Premier League dream, Malcuit interest confirmed and £250,000-a-week contract offer in Arsenal Tuesday news and gossip

Here is a daily roundup of the latest Arsenal news, gossip and transfer speculation.

Arsenal target Ivan Perisic has admitted that he has dreams to make a move to the Premier League.

Perisic had a terrific world cup with Croatia and helped hi national side reach an unlikely world cup final, and his performances caught the attentions of former United boss Jose Mourinho, who was keen to add a few more players to his squad.

But a move never materialised and in the end Perisic stayed put, and with United getting rid of Mourinho, the Red Devils interest in completing a £25 million deal has gone, meaning the Gunners now have a free run at trying to secure a move.

Reports have claimed the Gunners want to sign the 29-year-old on loan with an option to buy, as Unai Emery seeks to bolster his attack with Danny Welbeck out for the season, and Aaron Ramsey seemingly losing interest after agreeing a move to Juventus.

And after Inter confirmed that Perisic wants to leave the club, the winger has admitted that he harbours dreams to play in the English game, telling FourFourTwo: “From the beginning of my career, I’ve had the ambition to play in as many big leagues as possible, and I still have that desire to test myself in other leagues.

“And I mean in the Spanish or English leagues.

“I hope Inter fans understand my point of view. I’m an athlete and a professional, I like challenges and this is my driving force.

“What the future will bring, I don’t know. Now I’m focused on Inter, as we try to make a bigger step forward from last season.”

The agent of Kevin Malcuit has hinted that Arsenal have made contact with Napoli about a January deal.

The Gunners have done no business so far this transfer window, despite the fact that boss Unai Emery is keen to bring a feew players in, and there has been alot of speculation that the club will not have enough time to seal their potential deal.

Reports in the media over the last few days have claimed Arsenal are closing in on deals for Inter Milan star Ivan Perisic and Barcelona midfielder Denis Suarez, but talks over possible deals have stalled as the Gunners can only bring in players on a loan basis.

But another name that has been linked with a move to the Emirates is that of Napoli star Malciut, who has been impressing under Carlo Ancelotti in Seria A.

The Gunners have reportedly made an approach to the sign the 27-year old on-loan until the end of the season, with the club desperate to find an immediete replacement for the injured Hector Bellerin, who will be out for the rest of the season.

But despite confirming Arsenal’s interest in trying to secure a deal for Malciut, his agent Bruno Satin, insists the Frenchman is ‘happy’ with life under Carlo Ancelotti.

‘There’s a London club who are looking for a right-back. They asked about Kevin, but there’s no question of him leaving Napoli,’ Satin told Radio CRC.

‘Arsenal? It could be them, but not necessarily. He’s happy with Ancelotti and in Naples.’

Reports have claimed Arsenal have offered Inter Milan star Ivan Perisic £250,000-a-week week to sign up.

Despite not doing much transfer business this window, reports emerged last week that Arsenal were on the verge of completing a deal for Perisic after the Croatian star asked for a transfer away from Milan.

The powerful winger has made no secret of his desire to test himself in different Leagues and Gunners boss Unai Emery was hoping to have a loan deal completed by now, but Arsenal cannot agree a deal with Inter as the Italians only want to sell.

However, the Sun has claimed Arsenal have offered Perisic £250,000 a week to join this month on an initial loan with a view to a permanent move in the summer.

And according to Milan-based newspaper Libero, Perisic has agreed personal terms with Arsenal despite the two clubs not agreeing on a loan or transfer deal.
