Arsenal told to stay away from Dembele deal – told to sign £80M star!

Arsenal have been advised to refrain from signing Ousmane Dembele in January by former star Emmanuel Petit.

Dembele is yet to find the net despite making 13 appearances for the Parisians since making a summer move from Barcelona

His performances for the French giants has led to alot of speculation in the media that they would be open to letting Dembele leave the club in the January window if they receive the right offer.

However – amid all the speculation and all the rumours – Petit has opened up and told ARSENAL to stay away from signing Dembele in the winter window, claiming he wastes too many chances.

“Dembele is struggling as he’s under massive pressure at PSG,” he told OLBG. “He wastes chances on many occasions and he’s not scoring goals. It’s been a difficult start for him, so I can’t say Dembele for Arsenal.”

Instead the former midfielder encouraged the Gunners board to make a move for striker Ivan Toney – who has been all over the headlines for the past few months.

“I’m a huge fan of Ivan Toney,’ he said. “He’s done a great job with Brentford ever since they came up from the Championship, and I’m not surprised that they’re struggling without him, even if they beat Chelsea at the weekend.

“Brentford are not the same team without Toney and the package he brings – his goals, mentality, and behaviour. Whoever gets Toney in January, if he does leave, will be getting a great bargain. If Arsenal have a chance to sign him, they should go for him.”

ARSENAL have so many attacking options on the wings or in midfield, but they need to sign a striker and if Arteta brings in anything different in the winter window, it could be a waste of money.

Arsenal fans want Toney – that is the signing the club need right now.
