Frenchman announces £80M valued star ‘would make a difference’ id signed by Arsenal

Could Arsenal sign Zaha?

Emmanuel Petit has opened up and told Arsenal that Wilfred Zaha would be a great signing for the club.

Regarded as one of the most dangerous wingers in the Premier League – Zaha has been tipped to leave Crystal Palace for many seasons now – but his asking price has been way too high

However – with his current deal finishing at the end of the current season – Arsenal have once again been linked with a move for the attacker – as Mikel Arteta wants to add a bit more depth to the squad

Zaha scored 14 league goals last season and has continued his impressive form this term, hitting the back of the net five times – and many feels the 29-year-old would strengthen most top-six teams but especially Arsenal, saying the Gunners messed up by not signing Zaha back in 2019 when they instead spent £72million on Nicolas Pepe.

Now – amid the speculation – Petit has opened up and claimed that Zaha would suit the style of play under Arteta: ‘I’ve also been told that Raphinha is on the club’s radar, but I also like Zaha as an option,’ Petit said.

‘The way Arsenal play, Arteta wants wingers that can make the difference with their pace and dribbling skills. These types of players would be very good additions for Arsenal.

‘I also really like Pascal Gross at Brighton. I think he is a very good player. He is very intelligent and is a proper team player. He is dedicated to the team performance and sacrifices himself. He can offer a lot of different tactical options too.’

Look – Zaha is a player that Arsenal should have signed a couple of transfer windows – they made a mistake not signing him

This is his last chance to play for one of the big clubs – so even though he is devoted to Palace – when a firm offer actually arrives – it will be interesting to see just where he ends up as we cant see him staying at Palace
