Frenchman announces he wants Arsenal to sign ‘PERFECT FIT’ elite star this summer –
Arsenal hero Emmanuel Petit has claimed the Gunners’ transfer target Victor Osimhen would be the “perfect fit” at the Emirates Stadium.
Having narrowly missed out on the Premier League title to Manchester City, Arteta and Edu Gaspar will be looking to bolster their squad in a number of departments ahead of the new season.
It is no secret that Eddie Nketiah and Gabriel Jesus are quality players – but they are not the type of strikers that will bang in 30 goals a season, something that will help the Gunners win that Premier League title.
Osimhen, 25, dreams of playing in the Premier League, according to according to Radio Roma, but Napoli will stand firm on his €130m (£111m) release clause, which has put many clubs off actually making an offer for the big Nigerian star,
But amid all the speculation and rumours – Petit has opened up and rumours that ARSENAL could still make some kind of offer for the big man, Petit has opened up and encouraged his former side to make an offer, claiming he could be perfect for the club.
Speaking to TalkSPORT, Petit said: “I would love to see a player like Osimhen, for example, as a striker.
“Someone who can hold defenders and think differently in terms of attacking the spaces behind the defenders and being a big threat on set pieces.
“A physical presence as well, but someone who can speak the same football.
“I’ve been watching him since he was at Lille before he left for Napoli and it would fit perfectly for Arsenal.
“I don’t know if Arsenal are going to buy him, but the first thing that they need is a striker.”

He is one of the best forwards in the world and a man that could thrive in an Arsenal attack that creates so many chances on a daily basis. If ARSENAL do not get Osimhen it is because they dont want to pay his massive asking fee.
But he is certainly a statement signing that is for sure guys.
