Man United to sign Arsenal star? , Poga’s United career now over?, £60 million star tipped to sign for Manchester United
Guys here is a roundup of the latest Manchester United news, gossip and transfer news from icfootballnews.com
Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is interested in signing Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in what would be a major coup for the underachieving Red Devils.
Despite spending some serious money during the last couple of transfer windows, United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer failed to delve into that transfer kitty to land a world class striker that could lead this United attack back to the very top.
Marcus Rashford has done a decent job this season, but many doubt whether he is the answer to United’s long-term problems and that has led to a lot, and we mean a lot , of transfer speculation in the media linking the club with a number of players in the next few windows, with Aubameyang now on the shopping list.
It is no secret in the media that AUbameyang is considering his future at the Emirates, with reports he wants a massive £300,000-a-week deal to sign up, a wage, that many, believe the Gunners hierarchy do not want to pay the Gabon striker.
And If the Gunners miss out on Champions League football next season they could face a difficult battle to keep hold of their key men, and THE SUN CLAIM United are hoping to profit from that as they are keeping tabs on the Gabon international.
Paul Pogba’s Manchester United career is over, as Mino Raiola has revealed his Real Madrid plan for the Frenchman.
The £100 million-rated Frenchman is widely expected to depart Old Trafford this summer after failing to establish himself as one of the clubs most important players since his mega money move from Juventus just a few seasons ago.
And that has led to all sorts of transfer speculation in the media that he could be on his way out of the club at the end of the season, with Real Madrid and Juventus the two clubs who are interested in signing Pogba, and now his agent has hinted that he could finally be leaving the club.
His agent Mino Raiola has hit out at United on more than one occasion and suggested on numerous occasions that this will be the final season for Pogba at United, and Raiola once again admitted the United midfielder is “going through a tough time” as the super-agent revealed his intention to take a “great player” to Real Madrid this summer.
Raiola’s comments fuelled speculation at the time and have continued to punctuate a poor season for Pogba, whose ankle problems have restricted him to just eight appearances in all competitions: “Paul is going through a tough time,” Raiola said, “However, let’s be clear, because in England they are very sensitive, Pogba is only focusing on bringing a great end to the season with Manchester United.
“He wants to come back into the team and ensure that United can reach the Champions League.”
Asked about Pogba’s future, his agent told Marca: “You can never say what will happen, today we just don’t know. At this moment, the only things that matter are the club and the team.
“Then, after, we can see what is possible; there was great interest in him last year, but it wasn’t possible. We’ll see what happens.”
Manchester United transfer target Jack Grealish has similar leadership traits to Bruno Fernandes, claims European football expert Gabriele Marcotti.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is a boss that needs to spend some serious money over the next few weeks in order to improve a side that may in fact struggle to get a top six spot this season, nevermind a Champions League place for next season.
That has, of course, led to all sorts of speculation about whom could come into the club, who could leave the club, and what superstar signing that Solskjaer will seek to improve his side in the next few windows in order to close the gap on Manchester City and Liverpool.
And there has also been some shock rumours in the media that Villa midfielder Grealish could also be on the radar of Solskjaer after impressing during his first season back in the Premier League, as his performances over the past few months has also caught the attentions of the likes of Tottenham, Arsenal and Liverpool, who all believe that he is ready to make that step up in the game.
Now Marcotti has opened up and tipped United to bring in the impressive Villa star: “I think getting the [Grealish and Jadon Sancho] is probably going to cost you the best part of £200m,” Marcotti said on the Gab and Juls podcast.
“People seem to adore Grealish. I know he’s somebody who stands out more than he should because of the stuff he does with his shinpads, because of his hair.
“What I like about it though, in terms of attitude, we’ve all praised Bruno Fernandes for his personality and the fact that the guy’s got cojones – Grealish does too.
“I think this is something United could use actually, some very strong, visible, personalities as well. That would certainly help.”.
Look, Grealish has had a fantastic season back in the Premier League and it is very easy to see just why big clubs are circling for a potential deal, especially as he could be on the market for a bargain if Villa get relegated.
United already have a number of talents at the club that will go on to do big things, but if there is a chance to sign Grealish, UNITED SHOULD TAKE IT.
