Portuguese International and Arsenal target confirms he wants big move!

Wolves midfielder and Long-term ARSENAL target Ruben Neves has admitted he wants to play Champions League football.

Arsenal failed to win that Premier League title this season and it will now mean that Mikel Arteta will need to improve the squad at the end of the campaign and sign players that will improve the side – with Neves a man that is reportedly on the shopping lost.

The 26-year-old has been tipped to leave Wolves for the last few transfer windows – but has stayed loyal to Wolves in hope that they could progress in the Premier League.

But even though he says no decision has been made on his future, he embraced all of his team-mates and clapped the fans after coming off late in Wolves 1-1 draw with Everton and has now admitted that he wants Champions League football

He said: “Let’s see what’s going to happen. I always say the same thing – I truly love to be here, but I never hide that I want to play Champions League football and that’s a hard decision to make because I feel at home here, for me and my family.

“But in football, you need to go for your main goals and I think that will be a massive decision for me.

“But nothing has happened yet. If it was my last game here, I really enjoyed it and I’m grateful for all the people who worked with me over the six seasons.”

Neves has a year left on his contract and has also been linked with Barcelona.

If Arsenal want to really challenge Man City again for that Premier League title – they need to spend some serious money.

Neves is a brilliantly gifted player that would add to the squad – but he is a player that the club do not need – they have plenty like him in the side.

A new defender – central midfielder and striker is what Mikel Arteta really needs – not Neves
