Graham Potter may be regretting making the move to Chelsea this season – fans have been stunningly told

After Establishing himself as one of the best young managers in the Premier League while with Brighton – American owner Ted Boehly made the big decision to hands him the chance to manage Chelsea.

Boehly had just sacked Thomas Tuchel after a poor start to the new season – and knew that many had tipped Potter to manage one of the big clubs in the Premier League – and after the start Brighton had to the new season – believed he was the man to take the club forward.

But after a good start to life at Stamford Bridge – Potter has seen his Chelsea side struggle in recent weeks to keep clean sheets – to score goals and to play the football that fans have enjoyed watching over the past few seasons.

Now – after seeing Chelsea lose to Newcastle at the weekend –

“He’s not finding it easy, is he?” McManus told Football Insider

“It’s a big old job and there is a lot of uncertainty at Chelsea at the moment. The owner is making a lot of big decisions, signing a lot of players.

“Potter had it made at Brighton, he had a squad that had been built by him and they were playing unbelievable football.

“They are still doing it under their new manager, who is continuing to do an excellent job. Chelsea look lost at the back.

“I know he has only been there a few weeks but some of the results have been so poor. Surely there is a part of him that thinks he might have made a mistake.”

Potter is a very good young manager that we are sure will go on to become successful – but he may well indeed be regretting that move

It was a shock to see happen and the fact that he has had no time to really get his style of play across to his players is becoming an issue#

It will be interesting to see how he does in the January window and if he will sign the players that he needs
