President OFFICIALLY admits right offer will get Chelsea transfer deal done
Napoli president Aurelio de Laurentiis says keeping star players like Chelsea target Victor Osimhen “won’t be difficult” due to their contracts – but said “never say never” about a summer departure.
Chelsea are in the middle of transition right now and missed out in January of adding a striker to that attack – something that they have needed and something that the board should have made sure was sorted.
Osimhen is a player that Chelsea have been keeping a very close eye on over the past few months and it is widely believed that they will reignite their interest in the striker at the end of the current season.
Napoli do not wish to sell – But De Laurentiis says players like Osimhen , who has been linked to Chelsea, and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, are susceptible to receiving other offers “they can’t refuse”.
Osimhen and Kvaratskhelia have shone for the Serie A leaders – who have a commanding 18-point lead at the Italian top-flight after 23 games – He said:

“These new players have proved to be reliable. The thing that I like is that this side goes beyond single players.
“The fact that we now have Osimhen and Kvaratskhelia, Kim [Min-jae] and other players in midfield makes means this team will last in time.
“I am very good at making contracts, so when they [Osimhen and Kvaratskhelia] come to me, they are blocked, so keeping them here won’t be difficult.
“However, never say never. Sometimes there are offers you can’t refuse, so you never know. To me, we’ll see them shine for a long time.”
