PSG have £200m message for Chelsea on possible deal for world-class 32-goal superstar Mbappe
PSG have told the likes of Chelsea that star man Kylian Mbappe will not be leaving this summer window.
Despite the fact that Chelsea are still unable to buy any players during this transfer window, the Blues are challenging the ruling and are hoping to secure a number of top signings to help get Maurizio Sarri’s side challenging for the League title.
And with all the reports in the media which are suggesting that star man Eden Hazard is leaving the club to sign for Spanish giants Real Madrid, the Blues are desperate to find an adequate replacement that could fill the goals that the Belgian Creates and scores.
And one name that has been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge, is that of Mbappe, who is regarded as one of the best players in world football already and is the man everyone is tipping to become the greatest football on the planet.
The 20-year-old World Cup winner was named the best player in French football on Sunday night, picking up both the Player of the Year and Young Player of the Year awards.
But after accepting his prize from Didier Drogba, he has hinted that he is already thinking about the next step in his career and the possibility of leaving PSG.
However, PSG have quickly responded to the links linking the Frenchman with a move away from the club and have admitted that he will not be going anywhere this summer.
PSG issued a statement on Twitter: “Strong links have united PSG and Kylian Mbappe for two years and that same story will continue next season.
“With a shared ambition to mark history in European football, after 50 years since PSG was founded, we have a chance to write a big page in history together and each major player will have to play his part, always working for the team.”
Mbappe scored 32 goals last season to help PSG win the Ligue 1 title again and many will now be in the market for a potential deal, although the likes of Chelsea would have to fork out close to £200 million to even open talks with PSG.
So even though Chelsea may not get Mbappe this summer, his hint suggests that he would be open to a move to the Premier League.
