Fans will love this! Christian Pulisic stands up and sends Chelsea message to Blues

Christian Pulisic has urged a rallying cry to his Chelsea team-mates on their poor run of form.

The Blues suffered a shock 1-0 defeat at home against London rivals West Ham on Saturday – meaning they have now gone three matches without a victory in all competitions, following their 2-1 defeat at Manchester City and draw to Valencia in the Champions League.

But Pulisic, who has finally started to find his feet at Stamford Bridge after a poor start to the Chelsea season, has opened up and admitted that this poor run of results ‘is just a test’ of the clubs mentality, telling the Chelsea website: ‘Absolutely, tough times really test your character.

‘Things aren’t going amazing, I would say this isn’t the worst thing so we just have to go on but now luckily in this league, we get another game midweek so we get a chance to redeem ourselves.

‘It was a pretty crazy game midweek and then coming here we really wanted a good result, we came out with a lot of energy and did some things well but we just didn’t have that finishing touch. It felt like a little something was missing.

‘In the season, that is what happens, there are ups and downs. We have had a few months now where people have said how well we’ve done and how everything has been going great, and I wish it would stay like that the whole year but it’s not the case, so now a couple of tougher results and we just have to go try and turn it around.’

Frank Lampard has seen his Chelsea side have a brilliant start to the new season, and this bad run of form has been a shock to the system for many Blues fans, especially as they expected to beat West Ham at the weekend.

But this is a real test of the Chelsea mentality, and if they are able to get back on track and start getting the wins once again, then this will just be a blip in an otherwise decent season for the club.
