£58M million attacker will be at Chelsea this summer – Boss OFFICIALLY announces

Chelsea, Pulisic

Christian Pulisic will stay and fight his way into Thomas Tuchel’s plans – according to his USA boss.

The American star was hailed as one of the best and most exciting young wingers in world football – and his performances for Borussia Dortmund lead to Chelsea spending £58 million for the player

However – despite some decent performances in that Chelsea shirt – Pulisic has not hit the heights that many had hoped for and has fallen further down the pecking order after the arrival of Raheem Sterling

That has led to some shock reports in the media which have claimed that he is ready to leave the coub – and Chelsea are very much open to letting him leave Stamford Bridge if they receive the right offer.

However- – Gregg Berhalter, the USA manager, has backed the American winger to force his way into Tuchel’s side before the World Cup in November.

Speaking at an MLS event, Berhalter said: “He’s a fighter, you’re gonna see he’s gonna get on the field.

“He may not be a starter, every year you hear that and every year he ends up on the field because of his contribution.

“He’s a goalscorer. He’s a winner.

“What I’ve seen from him in the last couple of years is his mentality has completely shifted and he embraces stuff like this.

“He’s not scared of challenges like this and I’m excited to see how he performs this year.”
