Absolute Worldie sends transfer message to Chasing Chelsea

Brazilian winger and long-term CHELSEA target Raphinha revealed that he has no plan to leave Barcelona before his existing contract expires in June 2027, which will not come as welcome news to all the chasing Premier League clubs that are reportedly interested in a deal for the Brazilian.

During his time with Barcelona – Raphinha established himself as one of the most dangerous wingers in the Premier League and a man that was destined to play at the very highest level of the game.

The Brazil international bid farewell to the Premier League when completing a big-money transfer from Leeds to Camp Nou in the summer of 2022, and had hoped to take that next step in his development.

He has shown glimpses of what he is capable of while in Catalunya, but has not been the hit that many would have hoped, which has led to alot of speculation in the media that he was a player the club would be open to letting go in the coming transfer windows.

However – Raphinha revealed that he has no plan to leave Barcelona before his existing contract expires in June 2027 – Speaking to reporters, the attacker said, “I have a contract with Barcelona and my intention is to fulfil it.

‘I’m happy and I know what I can offer. I’m very proud to wear Barcelona’s captain’s armband. It’s an honour.”

Look, there will be alot of rumours over the next few months about the future of Raphinha and to be honest – he probably will leave Barcelona. But is he the type of player that the board like to buy?

They have a long-term plan and although Raphinha is only 28-years of age – he may be too old for their future goals – which would be a shame as he is quality, as we have just said.

So even though CHELSEA will constantly be linked with a move for the man over the next few months, he has made his intentions clear right?
