Thank you! Ramsey has Arsenal message after four-year deal gets officially signed

Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey will join Juventus this summer after signing a four-year deal with the Italian champions.

Ramsey has been at the Emirates for over a decade and is very highly-regarded at the club, especially since has won the clubs player of the season for the last couple of seasons.

However, he simply could not agree a new contract with Arsenal after months of talks, with much speculation suggesting that he wants the kind of wages which Mesut Ozil has at the club, which the Gunners did not want to pay.

And in the end the Wales international agreed a pre-contract deal to join Juventus on July 1 when his Arsenal deal expires at the end of the season and he will earn £325,000 a week.

On his Instagram page, Ramsey thanked Arsenal’s fans and said he will “continue to give the team 100%”.

He wrote: “You welcomed me as a teenager and have been there through all the highs and lows I’ve encountered during my time at the club.

“It is with a heavy heart that I leave after 11 incredible years. Thank you.”

Ramsey has played 259 times for Arsenal, scoring 61 times.

In his 11 seasons at the club, he has struck double figures in a season three times, with a best mark of 16 in all competitions in 2013-14.

Here is what we think on Ramsey leaving.

Ramsey has been brilliant at times for Arsenal this season and many surrounding the club do feel that the hierarchy are making a mistake as Ramsey adds more to the squad than the likes of Ozil.

The move for Ramsey will be great for his career and the move will also give him the opportunity to win a few more trophies, as Juventus are the best team in Seria A.
