18-goal Arsenal Target Sends Emphatic Summer Transfer Message!

Long-Term Arsenal target Raphinha has emphatically stated his intention to remain at Barcelona, despite sparking talk of interest being shown from England and Saudi Arabia.

During his time with Barcelona – Raphinha established himself as one of the most dangerous wingers in the Premier League and a man that was destined to play at the very highest level of the game.

The Brazil international bid farewell to the Premier League when completing a big-money transfer from Leeds to Camp Nou in the summer of 2022, and had hoped to take that next step in his development.

He has shown glimpses of what he is capable of while in Catalunya, with 18 goals recorded through 80 appearances, but has not been the hit that many would have hoped, which has led to alot of speculation in the media.

ARSENAL FC are just one of a number of Premier League sides that are reportedly interested in a deal for the Brazilian as they are looking to add some more quality to that attack in the summer, while a move to Saudi Arabia has also been mooyed.

However – Raphinha has recently sent a statement of intent to stay at Barcelona in the summer window and revealed that he has no intenton of departing the Nou Camp anytime soon.

He said: “I have a few more years on my contract and I plan to fulfil them, I have already said many times that signing for Barcelona was a dream, and I will do everything possible to stay here for many years.”

Look, there will be alot of rumours over the next few months about the future of Raphinha and to be honest – he probably will leave Barcelona. But Arsenal do not need to sign a player that does not want to move.

If he is forced to move on – his heart wont be in it anymore, the desire wont be there, it would end up being a pointless transfer.
