It has been claimed that Real Madrid would have to pay a massive £83 million to secure the services of Arsenal star William Saliba, as they continue to be linked with the Gunners star.

His commanding performances at the back have made him one of the most sought-after young defenders in Europe and as Real looks to bolster their squad for the future, Saliba appears to be at the top of their wish list.
To lure Saliba away from Arsenal, Real Madrid may have to pay a staggering fee of at least £83 million, which would set a new world record for a defender. The current record is held by Harry Maguire, who moved to Manchester United for £80 million in 2019.
