Liverpool backed to sign winger – Klopp told to sign 10-goal star – Reds make ‘RIGHT’ £35M decision

LIVERPOOL, KLOPP

Here is a roundup of the top Liverpool news and gossip that we think you may have missed today…

Liverpool ‘should be exploring’ a potential move for Ajax attacking midfielder Mohammed Kudus, Jurgen Klopp has been told.

Regarded as one of the best sides in the game this season – Liverpool have looked a shadow of the side that almost won everything last season.

They have been struggling for goals – they have been struggling to keep clean sheets – they have been struggling to play the high impact and entertaining football that many fans have become accustomed too.

That has led to speculation in the media that Jurgen Klopp will look to try and sign players in the January window – despite the fact that Liverpool are now up for sale – there will still be money available.

Kudus, who is capable of playing as an attacking midfielder or upfront, has registered 10 goals and two assists in 20 appearances for Ajax this season – and is a player that has caught the attentions of all the big clubs.

His speed and quality on the ball makes him a real danger – and now Klopp has been told that he should consider trying to sign the gifted star in the coming windows.

In an interview with GiveMeSport, Journalist Dean Jones said: “He’s a player that Liverpool should explore at this point.

“Personally, I think it’s a good fit, but again, you’ve got to make the jump then to actually make the offer and find a role for him in your squad.”

Klopp will not sign players because they have had a good tournament at the World Cup or an impressive start to the season – he will do his research and then make a move if he feels that the player will add something.

Kudus is very impressive – but could be seriously make an impact at Anfield? We do not think so guys

Right Trossard decision –

Fans have been told that Liverpool were right to reject the chance to sign Leandro Trossard from Brighton.

Ever since moving to Brighton back in 2019 – Trossard has been one of the most impressive players for Brighton and a man that is attracting all sorts of interest

After Graham Potter departed the club for a move to Chelsea earlier in the season – it has been widely claimed that Liverpool will step up their attempts to get a deal done for the player and will make a move in the January window

It has recently been claimed that Liverpool had been offered the chance to sign Trossard – but with Jurgen Klopp keen to bolster that central midfield area – he is more interested in eyeing up deals for Declan Rice and Jude Bellingham.

Now – Pundit Alan Hutton has opened up and claimed that he may be a very good decision from Liverpool to turn down a move for Trossard: “He has had a great season he really has,” he told Football Insider.

He is obviously off to the World Cup as well. If they have turned it down, they obviously feel that they do not need that sort of player in that position. I do not actually think that they do to be honest.

That is no disrespect to him or what he has done, I think he has been excellent. But I think Liverpool are well-stocked in the forward areas.

The midfield is a priority for them, a central midfielder so that is where they will be looking to recruit. “

Liverpool do have some great attacking options and that is an area that they do not really need to improve on – so even though Trossard would be a very good squad option – other areas are more important right now

But we wouldn’t be surprised to see Liverpool make a move for the man

Kudud claim made –

Liverpool are reportedly the favourites to complete a deal to try and sign Ajax star Mohamed Kudus.

Pundit Alan Hutton has opened up and claimed that Liverpool are favourites to try and sign the winger –  Hutton told Football Insider: “I think a lot comes into it.

How they are going to structure payment to the club, the contract length, how much it is worth. This will all be in the thinking as well.

Liverpool are a huge team with a massive fan base. Going to Anfield is something special. Of course they will have an edge to it and the player will definitely be thinking about it.

I think he is a wonderful player. I saw him against Rangers and he was outstanding. He is definitely a player I think could add something different, make them better.

Liverpool are a huge team and they could have the edge on the rest of the teams depending on who they are.
