Fans ‘should expect Chelsea to complete signing’ of £100M valued midfielder

Reporter Iomie Stanley fully expects Chelsea to complete the signing of Declan Rice at the end of the season.
Over the past few seasons Declan Rice has developed into one of the best players at the club – and one of the most impressive midfielders that the Premier League has to offer.
He really is the leader at the Hammers and a man that they are hoping to keep at the club for as long as they are possibly too – but that has not stopped speculation regarding his long-term future at the club
Chelsea fc are continuing to be linked with a move for the England International – and it is believed that Rice has already made up his mind about leaving the Hammers after rejecting the clubs massive contract offer
The 23-year-old is said to have refused to extend his West Ham contract which runs until 2024, and whilst the club can extend it by a year, a big-money move looks to be on the cards after Rice publicly expressed his ambition to play in the Champions League during the World Cup.
Stanley told icfootballnews: ‘I think if you had to say one position they need to strengthen, then it would probably be a centre forward. But I can see them spending plenty, I could see them buying Declan Rice in the summer.
‘Rice is one of the best midfielders in the Premier League – is ready for Chelsea and his friendship with Mason Mount -we fully expect him to sign for Chelsea’
