Big new signing announces ‘this is why i joined’ Arsenal after great start

Arsenal star Declan Rice revealed this is how he “visioned” the beginning of his Emirates stint when he joined for a record £105million.

Rice was the talk of the transfer window at the beginning of the summer – as nobody could predict who he would go too and how much money West Ham would accept.

However – despite the interest from the likes of Man City, Chelsea and Bayern Munich, it was ARSENAL that Declan Rice made the move too in hope that he coul help the Gunners win some silverware.

And in his first few weeks as a Gunners – he has done that after Arsenal shocked Man City in the Community Shield and picked up another trophy to add to that Gunners cabinet.

And the £105 million signing has revealed that he why he decided to make the move to the Emirates.

WHAT DID HE SAY – 

‘I am buzzing, this is what I visioned when I joined. City gave us what we expected, but I am buzzing – so happy.

‘You have to have the patience against them, you have to have mini games within the game against them like the manager said to us before. To win today, my first for the club.

‘I feel I’ve grown a lot in the last three weeks. There’s a lot of information to take in of what the manager wants. I’m eager to learn and keep improving.

‘I’m sure we can achieve anything this season – we just need to remain focused’

GREAT START TO LIFE FOR RICE – 

Rice is joining a side that has a very good future ahead of them – as this Man City side is seeing its best players come towards the end of their prime – Arsenal have a bunch of stars that are just starting.

The Community Shield is a great way to start the season – but we have seen sides win that and then go on to have a poor season – so Arsenal fans know that getting too excited too early is not the right thing to do.
