Arsenal fans told it looks like £200,000-a-week star will be a Gunner this January!

Fabrizio Romano has shot down reports Thomas Partey could be set to leave the Gunners in the January transfer window.

Thomas Partey has been a player that has been in the transfer headlines ever since the news broke that ARSENAL were interested in signing Declan Rice.

And since the Midfielders move to the Emirates for £105 million – there has been even more rumours in the media suggesting that he wants out – that he is interested in a move away and does not fancy sitting on the bench.

Mikel Arteta has tried to incorporate the midfielder into his side by changing his position in the side and messing around with the tactics of his squad, which has had mixed results so far this season.

But according to reports on the Sun website, ARSENAL FC have made the decision to allow Partey to leave the club once again after another injury hit season.

However – Respected Journalist Romano has opened up and shot down the speculation that the former Atletico Madrid star could leave the club – He told Caught Offside: “Despite what’s being reported by some sources in Spain, I’m not aware of anything happening right now with Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey.

“Atletico Madrid are not interested, and Real Sociedad are not looking into it now – there’s nothing at the moment.

“Saudi clubs wanted him last June but Arsenal decided to keep him, so let’s see what’s going to be the strategy in the next few months, but for January, it looks very quiet.”

If Partey wants to play on a regular basis and does not fancy keeping the bench warm, then a move away from the Emirates may be the best thing for him and his career.

However – they may aswell keep the player until at least the summer window – he could be useful between now and the end of the season if he stays fit.
