Beckham sends message to Ronaldo – Neves for £70 million and Kalvin Phillips opens up in Man United news of the day….

Beckham Message sent…

David Beckham has urged Cristiano Ronaldo to remain at Man United in the summer and even extend his deal with the giants

Ronaldo made the big decision last summer to move back to Manchester in hope that he would be joining a side that is capable of challenging for that Premier League title – adding a cup and getting back into the Champions League.

But the Portuguese star – who has 12 months left on his contract at Old Trafford – is set to miss out on Champions League qualification after a very disappointing season in which they will get the lowest ever points total in the clubs Premier League history

Ronaldo has netted an impressive 24-goals in all competitions this season – and has carried the team at times this season – but there has been alot of speculation that he has been considering his future at the club.

Speaking to Sky Sports at the Miami Grand Prix on Sunday, Beckham said: ‘Obviously Cristiano is one of the best players over the last 15 years with Leo [Messi].

‘To see him stay on – hopefully staying on – at United is important for the fans. It’s important to him, we all know how much Man United means to him.

‘And he’s still doing what he does best, scoring goals and creating. That’s what Cristiano does. Even at his age, to be doing what he’s doing, is really incredible, so hopefully it continues and hopefully he stays for another year or two.’

Asked about United’s horrific end to the season, Beckham continued: ‘I think there’s changes to be made and changes that are happening and we’ve seen that.

‘It’s a tough end to the season, but it is the end of the season. I’m sure a lot of the fans are thankful for that, because it’s been a tough one, there’s been a lot of ups and downs.

‘The players have done what they could do best, and so has the manager as well, but you still turn up at the stadium. I turned up at the stadium a few months back and every seat was filled.

‘So the fans still believe, the fans still support, the fans will always turn up for the team because it’s what the United fans do.

‘There’s not many other teams that have gone through what they’ve gone through in the last few years and are still filling out their stadium. So it says a lot about the fans and says a lot about what they believe in, and there will be changes.’

Neves Price Set….

Wolves will demand £70 million for Man United target Ruben Neves this summer with the midfielder keen to stay in the Premier League

The transfer window is still a few months away but there has again been alot of speculation in the media that Man United are very much interested in trying to secure a transfer deal for Neves

Neves is rated as one of the best attacking midfielders in the Premier League right now and a player that is heavily tipped to join one of the big clubs when the transfer window opens up in June

Erik Ten Hag knows that he will need to add some more quality to that Red Devils squad in order to take that net step and start competing for the biggest titles once again.

But after another standout seasons in the Premier League, Neves will not come cheap in the transfer window, as according to the Daily Mail, he will cost £70 million to sign

But according to the report Neves will aim to keep playing in the Premier League next season, opening the door to a possible move to the Emirates

We are massive fans of Neves and firmly believe that he is at that stage of his career that he needs to sign for a big club like Man United, and considering the club need a player like him, it could be a great fit.

£70 million is alot of money to pay for the man – but we are sure that United might be able to get that fee down a bit if the player demands that he can leave the club

He would be well worth the cash and he is definitely a player that Ten Hag should look at trying to buy – so fans will need to keep a close eye on this as the man is brilliant

Phillips issues Message…

Man United transfer target Kalvin Phillips has spoken about his future – amid speculation he could leave Leeds in the summer

Phillips is seen as a man that has the ability and quality to play for the biggest clubs in the English game – but has been so loyal to Leeds that he has not yet considered leaving the club

Now, amid all the speculation about the future of Phillips – the midfielder has opened up and addressed all the speculation that he is ready to leave Leeds in the next couple of months

Speaking to BBC Radio Leeds about his future, Phillips said: “I’ve made what I want to do clear. I’ve made my intentions clear.

“I want to be at Leeds and I’ll focus on that until my contract ends. I’m not really worried about it too much.

“It’s always been something I’ve been confident about sorting whenever it needs sorting. There’s always going to be noise when you’re an England international and you’re playing for one of the biggest teams in the country, and I think until the end of the season, I’ll be happy at Leeds and always will be.”

We cannot believe that a player that has the quality that Phillips posses is not playing at a higher level – especially as he is a regular starter for England. Leeds should be worried heading into the transfer window as there will surely be offers arriving

He really is a classy midfielder and a star that should be playing at the top end of football – not fighting relegation

Man United need to improve both the attack and defence in the summer and we believe that Phillips should be a player they make a move for
