£34 million Opens up and comments on summer Arsenal transfer deal
Emile Smith Rowe has commented on his move from Arsenal to Fulham.
The Gunners midfielder, 24, ended a 14-year spell with the North Londoners – becoming the most expensive academy-grown departure in the club’s history.
Smith Rowe joined the Cottagers on a long-term deal with £27m paid upfront plus £7m in add-ons – and could made his debut on Monday in a friendly at home to Sevilla.
He left ARSENAL’s pre-season States camp to complete his medical earlier last week before joining the Fulham squad in Portugal and now he has commented on his exit from the Gunners – Smith Rowe told Hayters TV: “It was definitely an emotional move, being at Arsenal for so long.
“It was definitely a sad moment, but I’m in a really good place, I’m really happy. Everyone has given me confidence and helped me settle in.”

Smith-Rowe needed to leave for the sake of his career – and to be honest – ARSENAL have got a decent amount of money that has barely played over the past few seasons.
It is a shame that he had to leave a club that he wanted to become a legend with – but this is the right decision to make and one that reignite his career in the Premier League.
This should be a very good move for the player if he is able to stay fit and play on a regular basis – and maybe one day – he will be playing for a side that is competing in the Champions League once again.
We are sure alot of clubs will be keeping a very close eye on the development of Smith Rowe that is for sure.
