Klopp told target wants move away from La Liga giants, Liverpool fans sent huge Salah transfer message and agent confirms interest in winger
Salah could stay at Liverpool, Isco wants to leave Real Madrid and Agent confirms Liverpool interest in winger in Liverpool roundup…
Sevilla director of football Monchi says out-of-favour Real Madrid midfielder and long-term Liverpool target Isco wants to leave the Liga giants.
Isco has been a name that has constantly been linked with a move to Anfield over the past three years, but despite all the speculation and despite all the rumours, Liverpool have never been able to get a transfer deal done
But Isco has rarely featured under Zinedine Zidane this season and that has led to him once again being frustrated at the lack of game time he has been receiving, and he is now fed up and wants to leave the Spanish giants.
Monchi said Isco’s name had come up in discussions with Sevilla club president Jose Castro about possible transfer targets, but that they had no real interest in bringing him in, opening the door for Arsenal to get a deal done
Monchi told Estadio Deportivo: “The conversation lasted approximately 15 or 20 seconds. It is news that has come out, he asked me and I said no, that was all the interest in Isco.
“We do not live in a basement and read things, but I talk to the president or vice-president on a day-to-day basis, and there are things that jump out and the president asks me if that is true and I say ‘Yes, yes, I have not told you’, but it is not the case with Isco.
“It is a rumour, a logical rumour, because he wants to leave and here is a coach with who he played at a high level, but there is absolutely nothing, not a movement.”
Asked if Sevilla might pursue Isco in the summer, Monchi said: “Fortunately in that position we have very interesting players. It is one of the positions on the pitch about which we can be calmer. In the positions that Isco can play, we have players here that will give us good performances.”
Mohamed Salah could spend “another four, five or six years” at Liverpool, according to Dejan Lovren.
He already has over 20-goals this season, despite the troubles that Liverpool have faced under Jurgen Klopp this year, and will look to add to that tally as he chases another Champions League title, an FA Cup and a top four spot.
He is regarded as one of the best attackers in the game right now and is always being linked with the likes of Real Madrid and Barcelona, although Bayern CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge recently hinted that he would like the Egyptian in the Bundesliga
Lovren, though, claims to have been offered no indication by a close friend that a new challenge is being sought any time soon, and The former Liverpool defender has told talkSPORT: “I’m still in communication with Mo Salah. We are best buddies. We talk about everything.
“Mo is committed, not just for Liverpool but for all the fans and for himself. He is the biggest critic of himself when he doesn’t do well.
“I’m not surprised he is doing well individually, when you look at how many goals he has scored, he is amazing at the moment.
“There needs to be love from both ways (both Salah and Liverpool), I see now that they have it, so why not [stay]?
“Mo is in the best age of his football career at 28 – maybe he looks a little bit older – but he is in the peak of his form. Why not stay another four, five or six years?”
The agent of Ismalia Sarr has opened up and claimed that he almost signed for Liverpool in the January window.
Sarr, 22, joined Watford in a club-record move from Rennes in 2019 but was widely tipped to leave the club following their relegation from the Premier League last season, but that never happened.
However, he has been putting in some strong performances over the past few months and that led to alot of speculation in the media that Liverpool did want to secure a transfer deal in the January window, but never went through with the move.
Now his Agent Thierno Seydi has claimed that he came close to signing for the Reds, he told PanAfricanFootball: “With Liverpool, a few days ago, we were at the stage of signing the contract that would tie the Reds to Ismaila Sarr.
“Everything was sorted: the monthly wages and the length of the deal. I’d even asked Sadio Mane to find him an apartment.
“But it in the end, they weren’t able to put the €40 million (£35m/$49m) on the table to finalise the deal.
“You have to say that if English clubs that once animated the transfer window are struggling to put funds together, that shows the depth of the crisis affecting football.”
Look, Sarr is far too good to be playing down in the Championship and needs to come back to the Premier League, he clearly has the talent to play for one of the big clubs in the top-flight.
We are sure that he will manage to get that big move that he wants in the summer, it will just be interesting to see where he ends up.
