Starboy Bukayo Saka reveals what he did to help Arsenal seal record-breaking deal!

Bukayo Saka has spoken out about what he did to help lure Declan Rice to Arsenal this summer.

Rice was the talk of the transfer window once again after he finally decided that now was the right time for him to depart the Hammers and make the step up in the game, and some big clubs were interested.

Man City, Bayern Munich, Man City and even Barcelona were all linked with a move for the player – but in the end – it was ARSENAL that manages to wrap up an record-breaking £105 million deal for the midfielder.

He has made an instant impact at the Emirates and Saka certainly had a small part to play in the move after having chats with his England teammate about the club.

WHAT HAS BEEN SAID – 

The Gunners starboy was speaking to TalkSPORT for England ahead of the Three Lions’ upcoming clashes against Ukraine and Scotland.

He said: “Obviously he’d ask a few questions and I’d answer them, but yeah, I’d just try to give him the reassurance that he’d be coming to the right club and that the future is exciting for us,

“If he joined us, he’d make us better and that yeah, we can definitely achieve things.”

Despite the fact ARSENAL paid some crazy money for Declan Rice – he could turn out to be one of the buys of the transfer window as he bring so much to that Arsenal side.

There are a few people that have helped get a deal over the line, but all Arsenal fans are now worried about is whether or not Rice lives upto the hype and the money.

But so far – he has impressed in that Arsenal shirt and brings some real leadership to the side.
