Lutsharel Geertruida dropped a significant hint that he could follow Feyenoord boss Arne Slot to Liverpool.
Arne Slot is the man that will be heading to Anfield at the end of the season after Liverpool agreed to bring the Feyrnoord boss to the Premier League after another impressive seasons with the Dutch side.
Geertruida is a versatile 23-year-old, capable of playing at centre-back, full-back and in holding midfield and there has been alot of reports that Slot wants him to b signed for LIVERPOOL in the summer.
And the powerhouse posted a picture on his Snapchat from the stands at the London Stadium on Saturday, where Liverpool were taking on West Ham.
According to The Times, Slot is also planning to bring several members of his Feyenoord coaching staff to Anfield this summer, including his assistant, Sipke Hulshoff, and his head of performance, Ruben Peeters. Slot is also keen to bring his Feyenoord analyst, Etienne Reijnen.
Geertruida had already been linked with a move to Liverpool by former Reds and Feyenoord forward Kuyt, who rates him very highly.
‘I am a Feyenoord man and they are doing very well at the moment,’ Kuyt told the Liverpool Echo earlier this month. ‘They have a very good manager in Arne Slot and some of the younger guys like Orkun Kokcu and Lutsharel Geertruida are knocking on the door and playing very well.
‘It won’t take long for the interest of top European teams to be there for them. I hope LIVERPOOL is interested in Feyenoord players, and I am an example it can work.
‘When I was working as under-19s coach, Kokcu and Geertruida were in my team at the time. You know who the talented players are and you can see they are going to have big futures.
‘[Cody] Gakpo was a great talent and everyone knew from watching him at youth level that he would one day play for a club like Liverpool.’
LIVERPOOL TOLD TO SELL VAN DIJK –
Arne Slot has been told to get rid of Liverpool superstar Virgil Van Dijk in the coming transfer window.
After months of speculation and rumours – Feynoord boss Slot will be the man that takes over from Jurgen Klopp after the board decided that he was the man that will take over from the German.
He is coming to Anfield with a big reputation in the game and a man that likes to play entertaining football, but he will also need to get some transfer business done in order to get his new side playing the way he likes.
Mohamed Salah has been in the media over the past few days as there are more rumours that he could leave the club, but according to René van der Gijp, LIVERPOOL should also get rid of Defender Van Dijk.
Van Dijk is also in the final year of his contract and with him now 32-years-old, a decision has to be made on what comes next for him too. As far as Van der Gijp is concerned, both should be moved on.
“I think Slot would do best to slowly replace guys like Salah and Van Dijk,” he said.
“I read that Dortmund would be interested in Van Dijk, instead of Hummels. Then you play in a slightly easier competition.
“Salah should also just leave. He has performed incredibly, year in, year out. Now the wear and tear is slowly starting to show. That’s not easy. Your ego is affected, you fall down in the pecking order.”

We can totally see Salah leaving at the end of the season – there is so much speculation. But the idea that LIVERPOOL could lose Van Dijk aswell would be a massive blow, he is such an important player for the club.
It would be mad to see him leave and we cant see it happening unless he feels that a new challenge is needed.
SALAH HAS LIVERPOOL AGREEMENT –
Salah has been one of the best players in the Premier League for quite some time now and one of the best finishers that Liverpool fans have seen in recent times.
He has managed 24-goals for LIVERPOOL this season, but looks nothing like the player that challenged for the golden boot every season and helped the Reds win trophies, he looks off his game
Souness also claimed that Salah may have already agreed a Ronaldo-esque deal with Liverpool well ahead of time, as he said on talkSPORT: “There’s every chance that he’s done a deal with Liverpool at the end of last season – the summer last year.
‘Oh there’s interest from Saudi Arabia’ – but he’s given them an extra year. It’s like [Cristiano] Ronaldo at Manchester United, he gave them another year and then went off to Real Madrid [in 2009]. I think there’s every possibility that is the case.
‘Given Salah is [almost] 32 now, I think he’s been marvellous for Liverpool, but I think he’s had his head turned. He’s going back to a Muslim country, his mother tongue, so at his age and everything else, I think there’s every chance that will happen.”

Salah is a world class player that has been brilliant for Liverpool over the seasons – but maybe the right time is for him to leave – he will only get worse and his numbers will continue to decline.
Parts of the LIVERPOOL fans are getting frustrated his his lack of energy – his poor finishing and all the speculation that he does want to leave. So as we just said, maybe it is the right time to leave?
