Big Arsenal news – Board confident £60M star will sign up this summer

William Saliba is settled at ARSENAL and has no plans to leave the club – fans have been told.

Saliba has spent the last few seasons developing his football over in French football after Arsenal decided to loan him out – but he has come back and established himself as one of the best central defenders in the Premier League.

There has been some big rumours that the likes of Real Madrid are eyeing up a big transfer move – but Arsenal are keen to make sure that all speculation is ended by giving him a big contract to sign.

Arsenal so far offering the defender a £120,000-a-week deal, But that is ‘nowhere near’ what the Frenchman’s representatives are demanding, and there has been rumours that he may be interested in a move to PSG.

Howver – According to CBS journalist Ben Jacobs – Saliba is “settled” in North London.

Jacobs told GiveMeSport: “As I’ve said many times for a year, the PSG interest is very real. They’ve got one clear target, which is to buy young and, where possible, buy French.

“But there remains high confidence at Arsenal that a deal will eventually get done because Saliba is settled at the club.”

ARSENAL are in danger of losing a real classy player and a man that could be one of the best – but they should not bow down to the mans wages.

If he wants £250k-a-week – he can go get it somewhere else – he has played well this season but not well enough to deserve that kind of money at the Emirates.

He probably will sign a new contract at the Emirates – but fans will just be hooing that he does not get greedy and go off the boil after signing one.

For me I will like us to give him a good wages this summer since his for contract still remain one year with an option of one year extension then we monitor him from the new season and see how it goes if he measured up he continue if he does not then we can sell him there is one thing in football if you are good and trusted does not mean you can achieve such fit another place sometimes it can still be good else where it depends if he continue to play with his age mates that gives him more freedom to perform the choice is his.
