Sancho expected to arrive, Aouar could leave, United sent Coutinho update and Dortmund issue another Sancho warning in Manchester United roundup..

Manchester United have been given a further hands-off warning from Borussia Dortmund regarding Jadon Sancho, by the squad manager Sebastian Kehl.

There is no doubt that Sancho is the number one transfer target for Manchester United and has been linked with a move to Old Trafford for month, with all the speculation frustrating the fans.

Icfootballnews has learned that the Red Devils are still chasing the winger’s signature despite Michael Zorc’s comments, however, they are growing frustrated by the drawn-out nature of ongoing negotiations, which are being mediated by an independent agent.

Now Ex-Dortmund midfielder Kehl, who currently serves as the head of the club’s licensed player division, believes Sancho’s position at Westfalenstadion has now been clarified conclusively.

“It was important to clarify this subject [regarding Sancho’s future],” Kehl told German publication Kicker. “Of course, we are aware of Jadon’s appeal [in the market] but we also know how important he is for our team.

“He is a player who can make the difference in every game. He had an outstanding past year with 17 goals and 17 assists [in the Bundesliga].

“He gives the team something extra and we are very happy that he is staying, as his team-mates have already stated in recent days.”

Philippe Coutinho’s agent suggests the Barcelona playmaker could stay at the Nou Camp this summer, despite interest from Manchester United

There has been alot of rumours in the media over the past few months which have suggested that Coutinho was done at Barcelona, the Spaniards no longer want him in the squad and that he is open to the idea that to a move back to the Premier League, where a number of clubs are reportedly interested.

Reports on Catalan Sport even reported that Coutinho is keen to even make a loan move to the Premier League, as he knows most clubs will not be able to meet the massive asking price on his head.

But Joorabchian insists nothing has been decided yet, and has even told the likes of United that Coutinho may even decide to stay at Barcelona this summer, he told TalkSport: “After the Champions League is finished, and whatever happens, then we’ll sit down.

“It could be that Barcelona is the ultimate destination.

“He loves the Premier League, but the finances and the numbers and the situation of COVID are going to play a big part.

“He’s a big player with big numbers.”

Lyon director Juninho has admitted there’s a risk Manchester United target Houssem Aouar could leave this summer.

After being nurtured by the club’s famous academy — which has been responsible for producing some of Europe’s current top players including Alexandre Lacazette, Karim Benzema, and Corentin Tolisso — Aoaur started to realize the value of his ability, and n 2015, aged 17, he made his first appearance for Lyon B.

In the 2017-2018 season, in the absence of Tolisso who had just moved to Bayern Munich, he made 31 starts in both Ligue 1 and the Champions League, scoring seven goals and producing six assists — and the following season, his stock further increased as he made 44 appearances, scored seven goals, and made seven assists.

With United seeking to add some much needed quality to their midfield and there willingness to give the talents in the game a chance to sign, reports have suggested that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been impressed with Aouar this season and is ready to beat the likes of Juventus and Chelsea to a summer deal

Now, amid all the speculation regarding the talented little man, Juninho has opened up and admitted that there is a real risk that Aouar could leave over the next couple of months.

Asked by RMC Sport about Aouar’s future, the Lyon chief responded: “When you have great players in the squad, it is quite logical that other bigger teams with greater economic power come to seek the players.

“There is a risk of losing important players.

“If we lose important players, I have already spoken with the president, we will have the right to balance the workforce.”

Clinton Morrison has opened and claimed that he expects Jadon Sancho to be a Manchester United player by the end of the transfer window.

England winger Sancho is United’s top target this summer as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been desperate for months to try and secure a transfer deal, but in recent days it has appeared a deal may be out of sight.

With Borussia Dortmund’s deadline of August 10 passing on Monday and their sporting director saying the 20-year-old will not be leaving, there has been big talk that the Red Devils will not get their top transfer target.

But despite United insisting they will not be held to ransom over Dortmund’s £100million-plus price tag, Clinton Morrison is sure the deal will go through, saying he expects Sancho to be a Manchester United player by the time the extended summer window closes on October 5.

Speaking on Wednesday’s White and Sawyer, the former Premier League ace said: “I’m not really about players handing in transfer requests…

“But the club [Borussia Dortmund], they will know if he wants to move. He’ll go to them and say, ‘I want to move’, his agent will be speaking to them…

“I think eventually the deal will happen.

“It might go to the last couple of days or even the last day of the window, but I do believe Jadon Sancho will be a Man United player.

“Who wouldn’t want to go to Man United?”

This will go on until the end of the transfer window and it will be very interesting to see just how this all plays out.
