6 assist star drops big Chelsea hint as Blues have agreement in place
On-loan Manchester United star Jadon Sancho has opened up and admitted that he is very happy at CHELSEA, with reports that the Blues are considering making his move a permanent one in the summer.
Sancho ended an underwhelming spell at Old Trafford by joining Chelsea on loan last summer, and the former Bundesliga star has looked alot more creative during his time with the Blues than he was at United.
He has registered six assists in 15 appearances, establishing himself as an important member of Enzo Maresca’s side. It is clear how settled he already is at Stamford Bridge.
The England international will spend the rest of the season at Stamford Bridge, but as part of the deal the club have an agreement in their deal to sign him permanently for around £25m next summer after an impressive first few months at the club.
Now, Sancho has admitted just how happy he feels at Chelsea: ‘I’ve felt really good since day one, the coach and the players have welcomed me and that’s all I can ask for,’ Sancho said.
‘I’m taking it day by day and game by game. I’m very happy with my football. I just have to keep showing 100 per cent on the pitch.’
Former Stoke City defender Glen Johnson recently opened up and claimed that the permanent signing of Sancho could be the best deal ever – The former Stoke City man told Betfred: “It looks like a completely one-sided deal. These days, £23 million for a player like that, it’s like giving him away.
‘What he’s done in the last few weeks is what we know he’s capable of, but he just needs to do it more often. He looks like he’s enjoying himself and that’s why he’s putting in performances, so the manager and his backroom staff deserve credit too because these players that weren’t performing are now.
‘so getting Jadon to perform at a cost of £23 million could be the best deal ever.”
