Pogba to hold contract talks, Possible signing future Ballon D’Or winner, Man United target told to leave Madrid, Sancho already in United whatsapp group claim
Sancho future Ballon D’Or winner, Pogba contracts talks to be opened, Bale told to leave, Sancho in United whatsapp group in Manchester United roundup…
Borussia Dortmund attacker Jadon Sancho is already part of a WhatsApp group with Manchester United players.
Sancho has been linked with a move to Manchester United for months now as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer seeks to bolster his attack over the new few weeks of the transfer window.
However, there has been many people in the media which have claimed that Sancho is not yet worth then money, that United would be better off investing in another position rather than the wings.
But it seems that he is already on his way to Old Trafford as Transfer expert Ian McGarry has claimed that Sancho is already part of a whatsapp group with the Manchester United players.
He said on the transfer window podcast: “Manchester United are comfortable at this moment in time that they’re not in any competition for the signature of Jadon Sancho.
“They don’t believe they’re going to be gazumped by no other club because no other club has expressed the same level of interest.
“They’re also very confident the player wants to come to Old Trafford.
“He has been in constant touch with England international colleagues who currently play for Manchester United and indeed in daily contact with them.
“It’s even believed he’s on a WhatsApp group with some of the Manchester United players as well.
“Therefore United are very comfortable with their position, they believe that Dortmund will come round to the structure that they’ve suggested.”
Paul Pogba will start new contract talks with Manchester United “very soon”, according to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano.
Pogba is easily regarded as one of the finest midfielders in the game right now, despite all the criticism that he has been receiving over the last few seasons, and since the re-start of football, has started looking like himself.
But there has still be alot of transfer speculation in the media which have claimed that he could still leave the club when the transfer window opens up, with the likes of Juventus, Real Madrid and Barcelona all reportedly interested in a deal.
However, Romano has opened up and suggested that contract talks with Manchester United will be open very soon, as the Frenchman is more willing to stay at the club now that they are heading in the right direction.
He told the Beautiful Game podcast: “He wants to focus on Manchester United and I think soon he will start to speak with Mino Raiola to consider extending his contract with Manchester United.
“For sure, Manchester United want to extend the contract with Pogba, but they have to speak.
“It’s never easy when there is Raiola in some deals because he wants important contracts for his players but for sure, they will speak on the next [few] weeks.”
Rio Ferdinand has urged long-term Manchester United target Gareth Bale to leave Real Madrid, so that fans can witness his “generational talent” again.
Bale has enjoyed seven trophy-laden years at Real since joining from Tottenham for a then world-record £85m in 2013, but there has been alot of transfer speculation in the media which has been suggesting that he will be leaving Madrid in the summer window.
The Wales international has often been cast as a scapegoat by supporters, while falling down manager Zinedine Zidane’s pecking order – meaning that the likes of Manchester United have been handed a chance to try and bring him back to the Premier League.
And now that he is seemingly done at the Bernabeu and not getting any game time, Ferdinand has urged the former Tottenham player to leave the Spanish giants this transfer window, The BT Sport pundit said: “If you look at it in terms of trophies, he’s won a phenomenal amount of trophies and will go down as as one of the most successful imports they’ve had.
“But there’s no doubt one thing that’s happening, we’re being denied a generational talent here. We want him out on the pitch to perform and play.
“We’ve seen what he can do in finals, and in big moments he’s scored great goals. Defining moments in big games, but we’re not being allowed to see him play, and that’s the frustrating thing.
“You almost want him to come out and say it. You’re begging for him or the club to come out and make a big statement.
“He’s got to just come out and make his point.
“I think its time now, really. Either cut your ties with Real Madrid or at least go on loan.
“Make a deal happen somewhere to get out on the pitch and play football.”
Manchester United bound Jadon Sancho is “definitely a future Ballon d’Or winner”, says his former coach Louis Lancaster.
Sancho has been linked with all the top clubs in the Premier League for months now, but it seems that Manchester United will win the race to sign the little winger, if they can agree a fee with Borussia Dortmund.
And Lancaster feels the sky is the limit for Sancho, telling the South China Morning Post of a player he worked with in Watford’s academy system: “I think we are definitely looking at a future Ballon d’Or winner – 100 per cent.”
“Jadon wants to play football. It doesn’t matter if he’s at a council pitch in London or in front of 80,000 at Wembley. He just wants to play football. He just wants to win. He just wants to be challenged and enjoy the game.
“It’s like watching The Last Dance with Michael Jordan. You can’t take the ball away from him. Give him the ball and he’ll start to produce.” Dortmund reaped the benefits of that with 17 goals and 16 assists in 32 Bundesliga games this season.
“If you look at a normal 20-year-old, they’ve got to go through a lot of mistakes and not on the pitch, I mean off the pitch. They’ve got to send out the wrong tweets, send out the wrong Instagrams, get in a little bit of trouble.
“He’s had to leave from the south of England to the north, he’s had to go from the north to another country, language is a problem, he’s now independent. I think Man United are going to get a very mature 20-year-old.
“I think Man United will be a great move for him. The club have got a tremendous history, the club are hugely ambitious but most importantly they are structurally set up for success, off the pitch and on the pitch.
“If Jadon goes to Man United, on a bigger scale they’re going to control the ball. He’s got [Marcus] Rashford, [Paul] Pogba, [Anthony] Martial, [Bruno] Fernandes, [Harry] Maguire who can play out. So they’re going to hopefully have more ball which is where he can add value to the team.”
