Klopp admits Liverpool move WILL NOT be made for Sancho, Thiago and Havertz message sent, Ancelotti claims Klopp has built machine at Liverpool
Havertz and Thiago message sent, Sancho move will not be made, Klopp built machine in Liverpool news roundup..
Jurgen Klopp has ruled out a summer move for Manchester United transfer target Jadon Sancho – despite admitting the England star would “look good” in a Liverpool shirt.
The Borussia Dortmund forward has been tentatively linked with a move to Liverpool in recent months, with reports suggesting that he is seen as the replacement for Sadio Mane, should the winger leave to sign with Real Madrid or Barcelona.
Sancho is one of the best talents in the game right now and the type of player that Jurgen Klopp loves, especially as he will not need to improve his squad ahead of next season.
Manchester United are also very keen on the services of Sancho, who could be their statement signing in the summer window, if they are really ready to pay that massive £100 million price tag on the head of Sancho.
And now they have been handed a massive boost by Klopp, after the German boss opened up and admitted that he will not be making a move for Sancho in the summer window, but dod admit the England star would “look good” in a Liverpool shirt.
Klopp was asked directly about Sancho at a live event hosted by German publication BILD and replied: “A red jersey would look very good on Jadon. But I don’t think such a transfer will take place this summer.
“He is a very interesting player. If he moved to Liverpool, I would be the most surprised of all!”
Liverpool are unlikely to land Kai Havertz or Thiago Alcantara in the next transfer window, says Jason McAteer,
Only minor tweaks are now required to record-breaking ranks, with there likely to be little movement through the exits over the coming months, and With that in mind, McAteer cannot see the Reds splashing the cash on creative midfielders currently starring in the Bundesliga for Bayer Leverkusen and Bayern Munich.
The former Liverpool star told the Racing Post: “Takumi Minamino has come in but it looks as if Xherdan Shaqiri and Adam Lallana are going to leave so others are going to have to step up.
“But who? That’s the problem. No agent will need any encouragement to link their players to an Anfield move – I’m sure Timo Werner’s people were making a lot of the running when there was talk of him joining the club – but are they going to play regularly?
“Talk of Bayer Leverkusen’s Kai Havertz arriving at the club therefore seems unlikely. Liverpool broke records to sign Alisson and Virgil van Dijk, but the rest of the team were not necessarily signed for huge fees.
“They haven’t gone about their business that way and I don’t see it happening.
“And it is going to be a big year with the Euros at the end of the season, so top players are going to want to play regularly, something that Klopp is not able to provide for everyone.
“There has been a lot of talk about Bayern Munich’s Thiago Alcantara joining but defensive midfield is an area of strength with Jordan Henderson and Fabinho, so a move for him might not be the way forward.
“One main area they have to look at is left-back. Andy Robertson has been outstanding but they have had to rely on James Milner playing there when Robbo hasn’t been available.
“That’s obviously not Milner’s preferred position and Sadio Mane always looks more comfortable when he is playing in front of Robertson.
“But they don’t need much more and I think it is about getting the right people into the club who are going to fit in with the culture.”
Jurgen Klopp has built a mighty red machine at Liverpool, and Everton boss Carlo Ancelotti admits he is a fan of the German’s achievement.
A dominant season by the men from Anfield has seen them secure Premier League glory with a record seven games to spare, their first Premier League title and their first league title on 30 seasons.
They are also the reigning Champions of Europe, and until that Champions League is won this season, they are both the Champions of Europe and the English League, which has a good ring to it doesnt it?
And Ancelotti has only praise for Liverpool and Klopp, claiming Jurgen Klopp has built a mighty red machine at Anfield
He told Sky Sport Italia : “I have a great relationship with him. We met last week when everything was virtually decided and I congratulated him.
“Klopp is the architect of this success. Not only for this victory in the Premier League, but for everything he’s managed to achieve since arriving five years ago.
“With patience, he’s succeeded in building a perfect machine.”
Klopp knows that he has a world class side that is capable of going on and becoming very dominant in both Europe and the Premier League, but he needs to push on now and add a few top class players to the side, as their rivals will be hoping to improve to challenge for next season.
But well done to Liverpool, they fully deserve to win that Premier League title,
