Manchester United news: Powerful midfielder has agreed £25 million move!
It has been claimed that Manchester United are set to miss out on one of the clubs big transfer targets – as Burnley star Sander Berge has reportedly agreed a move to join Fulham.
The Red Devils are continuing their search for a new midfielder as they look to re-vamp the middle of the park in a bid to improve on last season’s disappointing league campaign.
According to the Mail, the Old Trafford outfit made an offer to Burnley for Berge, but are still some way off the Claret’s asking price. It’s understood that execs at Turf Moor were holding out for a fee of around £30m for the 26-year-old.
Personal terms werent thought to be a problem between MAN UNITED and Berge with SunSport previously revealing that the Norwegian is excited at the prospect of playing for the Red Devils on a contract worth £100,000 per week.
But Fulham are now set to land the Norwegian in a transfer worth £20million plus £5m in add-ons, according to the Sky Sports website.
The reports claims that Marco Silva’s side are in the market for a midfielder and it’s understood they made a similar offer for Man Utd’s Scott McTominay when they re-opened talks late last week.

If MAN UNITED really wanted to sign the midfielder this summer – they would surely have done it long before Fulham made their moves. It would be a strange decision to join Fulham over United so that is why we believe that the Red Devils were never really interested in the man.
Great move for Fulham though – he could be a very solid signing for the club this summer as he is already proven himself in the Premier League.
