Chelsea board looking at signing 23-goal striker to solve scoring issues!

Chelsea have reportedly identified Santiago Gimenez as an option to improve their attacking unit.
CHELSEA have spent over £1bn since Todd Boehly’s consortium bought the Premier League club last year, with the likes of Moises Caicedo, Romeo Lavia, Cole Palmer Nicolas Jackson and Christopher Nkunku among their marquee summer signings.
But they have a squad that is for the future, they have been signing players that will not make the immediate impact that Mauricio Pochettino wants, and have been signings players for crazy money that has shocked the world.
But despite the fact Pochettino would like to add a few more experienced players to his side, it seems that the Chelsea board are once again looking to sign a player that has alot of potential, but is not fully ready to make an impact at Stamford Bridge.
A report from 90 Min claims that 22-year-old Mexican international Gimenez is now a man that CHELSEA are interested in signing.
The Mexican had an impressive campaign with Feyenoord last season and he helped them win the league title.
He managed to score 23 goals across all competitions and has five goals in his first four league games this season. he is a player that all the big clubs are keeping a very clubs eye on.

Gimenez is very exciting and he had a very good season last year, but at 22-years of age, coming to Chelsea to try and make an impact is something that will not happen for the lad, he is not ready for the Premier League.
Chelsea can keep splashing the cash and spending all this money on players that have potential, but they have an average squad, they dont have too many players that could walk into another Premier League side and that is a worry.
CHELSEA should be spending their money on players that can make a difference now – so even though Gimenez is exciting – he is not the man the Blues should sign to solve their scoring issues.
