Blues star confirms the Chelsea signing of exciting winger!
Andrey Santos appears to have prematurely confirmed the Chelsea signing of Angelo Gabriel on social media.
CHELSEA have been signing some of the best young players in the game over the past couple of transfer windows and it has been claimed that the Blues started talks over a deal for the player just this week.
But it seems to be moving very quickly as the reports in the TalkSport website has claimed that the Blues have now agreed a £15 million fee for the Brazilian sensation.
The 18-year-old has long been considered as one of the top talents in Brazil and is likely to complete a move to Stamford Bridge in the coming days
According to the Evening Standard, Chelsea are in advanced talks to sign the wonderkid in a deal worth around £15million. The west Londoners will be hoping that he can follow in the footsteps of Neymar, who also earned his stripes at Santos.
On Instagram, Santos posted an image of himself during Mauricio Pochettino’s first training session at Cobham. In the comment section, Gabriel posted two blue emojis. With a blue heart emoji, Santos simply replied: “See you soon.”
talkSPORT’s South American football expert, Tim Vickery recently said that his has shown a lot of promise from a very young age.
“He’s a huge talent,” said Vickery. “He’s a left-footed right-sided winger, cutting in.
“Although he’s 18, he’s got well over 100 first team games for Santos under his belt, so he’s quite an experienced player.
“But he’s been an ‘eternal talent’ and it’s not really worked out for him yet.
“Santos has had a history with their youth system, like with Neymar, and Angelo is from the same system
“I’ll be fascinated to see how this plays out. We’ve seen the talent there for two years, but as is often the case with players of this age, there is sometimes a gap between potential and reality.”

The players that are leaving are proven winners – have won countless trophies and have played at the very highest level of the game.
CHELSEA are looking towards the future – and although that is a great long-term plan – the players they are signing right now will not help the club win trophies.
