Chelsea deadline day announcement imminent as exciting midfielder in talks over late move!
Chelsea midfielder Andrey Santos is in talks to join Strasbourg on loan until the end of the season, it has been revealed.
After signing the Brazilian teenager in January from Vasco da Gama, he joined up with his new Chelsea teammates in the summer and impressed during the club’s pre-season tour of the United States.
CHELSEA made the big decision in the summer window to allow Santos to make the move to Forest for the season in hope that he would get some game time to adapt to the English game.
But The 19-year-old midfielder has only been used twice by Forest in all competitions since moving to the City Ground in the summer.
Santos’ only start under Steve Cooper came in the Carabao Cup, with his solitary Premier League appearance lasting just seven minutes, and the decision was made to bring the player back to Stamford Bridge.
The one-cap Brazil international is currently away at a pre-Olympic qualifying tournament with his national team.
But he is set to join CHELSEA‘s sister club, which is part of the Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital-owned multi-club network under the BlueCo umbrella.

Santos is a very talented young man that did not need to come to Europe at this stage of his career, he is far too young and is was too big of a decision to leave his homeland.
He needs to be playing – so hopefully at Strasbourg he will get the game time that he needs.
