£35 million winger opens up and addresses transfer rumours that he could sign with Liverpool

Liverpool-linked Watford winger Ismaila Sarr has been speaking on his future, amid speculation that Liverpool are lining up a big summer transfer window.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is a man that knows that he will need to add to that squad in the summer transfer window if he is to get that title back from Manchester City, and adding a new winger to the squad will give him something different.

Sarr has been a player that has been the radar of all the big clubs over the past 12 months and is being tipped for a big time move to the likes of Liverpool, Tottenham, Arsenal and even Manchester United.

The Senegal international was rumoured to be on the Premier League champions’ shopping list last summer while his agent Thierno Seydi told PanAfricanFootball back in February that a deal was on the table to come to Anfield in January, only for the Reds to not stump up the cash required.

However, when speaking to the Watford Observer, the 23-year-old has reiterated his commitment to the Hornets who are currently second in the Championship, occupying the last automatic promotion spot.

“I think they are just rumours because I’m enjoying it here.

“I still have three years on my contract and I’m focused on Watford and I want to say.”

Sarr is a very good winger that has the potential to go on and do big things in the game, but a move to Liverpool would only be good for him if he gets to play on a regular basis, and although Klopp likes to rotate the squad, he would not get much game time with the attack that the Reds currently have.
