Arsenal have reportedly already made the decision that David Raya will be staying at the club this summer.

Many fans were left speechless when news broke last summer that Arsenal were going to sign David Raya on a loan deal until the end of the season, especially after Aaron Ramsdale really impressed in that Gunners shirt last season, but he has been impressive since his move to the Emirates.

After Another impressive season for ARSENAL – the Gunners are the best defensively sound side in the Premier League and that has helped Raya pick up his first golden glove award.

The Spaniard sealed the honour with one games still to play this term after keeping his 16th clean sheet of the campaign, and football.london understands it is a case of when, rather than if David Raya puts pen to paper on a permanent move to the Emirates Stadium.

Raya’s Golden Glove award will no doubt feel like full vindication for the Arsenal boss, who received no shortage of questioning and plenty of criticism after deciding to replace England’s Aaron Ramsdale as his No1 option last summer.

SESKO SAYS YES TO ARSENAL – 

It has been claimed that Benjamin Sesko would prefer a move to Arsenal this summer window.

ARSENAL spent heavily in the summer transfer window, breaking their own transfer record to sign sign a number of players that they feel will help drive the club into a new era of winning trophies.

However – there are many out there that believe the club are still lacking a striker to score the goals on a regular basis, and Victor Gyokeres is a player that has been linked with a move to the Emirates.

However – the Mirror are reporting that Chelsea linked Benjamin Sesko favours a move to Arsenal this summer, and RB Leipzig are said to be preparing to sell this summer if they can broker the right deal, even though he has only been with them for the past year.

The £45m-rated forward has also been linked with a move to Manchester United.

Charles Watts, speaking on his YouTube channel,, says a player like Benjamin Sesko, valued at £43m, is more likely to sign for Arsenal this summer

“There are other forwards linked too such as Gyokeres. He would be far more expensive than Benjamin Sesko. From some of the discussions I’ve had in the last couple of days I’m not sure Gyokeres will happen or could happen,” Watts said.

“I’m not sure we’ll see a huge transfer this summer in terms of financial outlay, I think we will see some good transfers for Arsenal, but I’m not sure we’ll see someone along the lines of another Declan Rice pushing the £100m mark which Gyokeres will.

“You never know in football, but I think Arsenal’s focus will be spreading the cost around, that’s why I think Sesko may be ahead of Gyokeres in the pecking order.”

Sesko has been in blistering form this season and is making a real name for himself – but to be honest – at this stage of his career he does not need to move on after one decent season.

We are not 100 per cent on who ARSENAL should sign – but they certainly need a striker that will be able to come in and play at a very high level ASAP.

ARTETA TO AGREE BIG DEAL – 

Mikel Arteta will become one of the best paid managers in Europe when his new deal is confirmed – Fabrizio Romano has claimed.

Mikel Arteta almost led ARSENAL  to their first Premier League title since 2024 – only to be beaten by Manchester City once again as they made it four titles in the last four seasons.

There has been alot of speculation in the media that Mikel Arteta could actually decide to depart the club at the end of next season with reports that Barcelona are interested in hiring the former midfielder.

Arteta did not ease these concerns when he recently admitted that he hoped to return to his native Spain in the future, though maintained he was ‘happy’ in North London and would hold talks over his future

Now – Romano has claimed that the Spanish boss is closing in on becoming one of the highest paid managers in the game – he tweeted: ‘Arsenal have already prepared their new contract proposal for Mikel Arteta, to be discussed soon.

ARSENAL are super happy with Arteta and the feeling is mutual, both want to keep going with current project together.
