Should Liverpool complete £100 million Sancho signing after being told to hijack Manchester United move
LIVERPOOL TOLD TO SIGN SANCHO
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has been urged to sign Manchester United target Jadon Sancho, by former star Emile Heskey, BUT SHOULD THEY?
The 19-year-old England international, who left Manchester City to join the Bundesliga outfit in 2017, emerged as a top summer target for United, but Dortmund refused to sell and United were not prepared to pay such a big amount for the youngster.
The lad is a creative force and was one of the top assist players in Europe last season, and considering United are in need of adding some much needed excitement, goals and creativity on the wings, the lad is growing into their perfect signing.
German outlet BILD have handed the likes of United a massive boost in the chase to try and sign up the young Englishman at the end of the season, as Dortmund have identified Hertha winger Javairo Dilrosun and Valencia’s Ferran Torres as possible replacements for the creative force, meaning that Sancho could be on the transfer market.
But Anfield hero, former England striker Heskey, has talked up Sancho and insisted he would be a great signing for the Premier League leaders, recently telling Starsport: ‘Jadon Sancho would be a good fit for any of the top two or three clubs, to be honest with you.
‘What he brings to the team, I think he would be fantastic for anyone in the Premier League, or in the world, he’s that good. His goals, assists, penetrating runs, frightening defences. He’d be good for anyone.’
Look LIVERPOOL are now one of the biggest clubs in the game and if they were to make a move ahead of United, then Sancho would surely prefer a move to Anfield right now ahead of a switch to Old Trafford as the Manchester club are in the wrong place to challenge for big time titles.
But right now Klopp doesn’t need to add any more attackers to his side as he has one of the best in the game right now, and even though Sancho would be a good investment, he is developing nicely over in the Bundesliga and needs a few more seasons playing regular football.
And if Liverpool are interested in a few years, then they HSOULD MAKE A MOVE.
