£85M Arsenal target informs club ‘he WANTS TO LEAVE’ this summer!

Xavi Simons has told PSG that he wants to leave this summer, which will open the door for Arsenal to potentially make a move for the gifted attacker.

The 21-year-old, after bagging 19 goals and eight assists during a loan at PSV Eindhoven last season, has racked up seven goals and 16 assists during his stint at RB Leipzig this season.

There has been talk that he will head back to parent club PSG at the end of the season to be given a chance in their squad – but that ha snot stopped speculation that a number of Premier League clubs will make a cheeky offer for the talented attacker.

Now Romano reports that Simons has told PSG that he would like to leave the club this summer, that he will be on loan for the next season, which is nothing new, with a number of clubs interested in a potential deal – he revealed the news on X.

“Xavi Simons has formally informed Paris Saint-Germain about his plan to leave the club this summer. Key detail: it will be a loan move until June 2025, as mentioned since April. Bayern and RB Leipzig, both pushing to sign Xavi Simons.

Amid all the speculation that ARSENAL are interested in a deal for the attacker – Ruud Van Nistelrooy recently sang the praises of the exciting star: “Xavi Simons is in the spotlight, he is not a new discovery, but I think that he will continue to grow to a world-class level.

“I had him at PSV, now he is at Leipzig taking his next steps. I say that he is a player for a great team even as a starter.

“He has character, he is professional, he is focused on getting the most out of his potential.

“And then he has quality, he is very complete, he knows how to do many things well. He can dribble, he scores goals, he is great in transitions, he plays in small spaces. I see him as very complete.”
